    • Terribly thin mortar
I am disappointed at how light weight the mortar is. I haven't used it yet so I don't know if it's actually sturdy enough. The pestle however is quite nice and is the actual reason I bought this. I use the pestle with a Lodge cast iron Melting Pot as the mortar.
