Zareba Sure Shock heavy-duty polywire is a lightweight polywire that is easy to install, repair and splice. Each spool of Sure Shock contains 1,320 feet of polywire, which is laced with 3 highly conductive strands of aluminum wire. These aluminum wires deliver a shock that's 20X more powerful than stainless steel polywire, making it a highly effective psychological barrier for your horses and livestock. Polywire can be wound back on its spool and redeployed for another fence when needed.

I had a cattle ranch and every year I had to separate my bulls from the cows. I used wire that was specifically made for electric fence and it worked fine, but was a LOT more of a challenge to run around the bull paddock. This stuff is significantly easier because it has no "muscle memory"; you can manipulate it a lot easier and don't have to worry about kinks. I needed some wire for a 250 feet area for my two horses to eat some grass at my neighbors’ field without any interference with his other animals. I could no believe how much line is in one single spool. Too much for my needs. Great product and works excellent with by solar fence device.

    • Tends to stretch
This was great for the price. Complaints are it unravels easily when cut and has a lot of stretch due the material it is made out of. I prefer other poly wire products, but this is hard to beat on price. These complaints are really nit-picks Great product overall.

    • This is one tough cookie of a polyrope
I built an electric fence a lot one side of my son’s winter cattle lot to keep the cows from jumping out and in winter hay. Since this was the first time I used such the product I reference Zareba’s library videos for help. These videos helped me to understand how to tie the ends especially to the Zareba charger. After all the work complete I plugged it up to find a vary strong charge to the 1/4 mile structure. Test showed all lights on with the fence tester. Cows will not come close to the especially since some suffered the strength of the charge. Fence is doing exactly what I wanted from the product. We’ll work the money. Shipping and packing came with no problems. My son is very impressed his 73 yo mother got the job done right! ... show more

This stuff works great. It’s incredibly easy to put up around your field or yard. And if you have a hard headed animal your trying to keep in or out of something. This stuff pack a hard punch when it shocks. It definitely should take many times of them getting into it to figure it out

    • Shocking good!
Compared to other poly wire fencing material, this is shockingly good. The shock it gives with the same charger is somehow more intense and the yellow and slack color makes it easy to see. Our cattle won’t touch it after testing it once. We have 2 bulls on our property, with their cows separated by 10’ with this Hotwire. It is hilarious to watch them stare each other down, guarding their harems, but never touch that nasty shocking fence. ... show more

I like the ease of this line to handle rolling on a spool. It is thicker than some and didn’t tangle as much. I do recommend a spool though. It is visible for the 🐑
