Description

Zareba Sure Shock Heavy-Duty 1-inch polytape features 8 highly conductive aluminum wires that transmit 20X shocking power to any livestock that comes in contact with this fencing. Each 500-foot strand is woven with PVC-coated fiberglass and uses lock-stitching along the edges. This manufacturing process essentially doubles its tensile strength, making it capable of withstanding up to 675 lb of pressure. Sure Shock polytape is bright white and highly visible, which makes it ideal for equine fencing. Sure Shock Heavy-Duty polytape is ideal for a variety of other animals, including cattle, pigs and exotics..

I've been using this product for over 10 years. Compared to the cheaper version with steel wires, this one transmits a lot more shock. It's also thicker , or durable, so lasts longer. I get about 3 years out of it in the Midwest. If it's left up year round. I really get it for the better shock. As much as the durability. It's no good putting it up at all. The frame ends were broken and cannot be rolled out and makes install difficult. Also no instructions. Dissapointed
