I have some extremely nice fountain pens that I use regularly. Everyone absolutely loves them, which is probably why they keep getting "misplaced" after friends or family drop by the house for a visit. I'm tired of my pens going missing and constantly having to replace them. It has become expensive and excessively annoying that I have to hide my pens in the first place. So now, I have to keep them in a pencil bag with a combination lock on it to keep anyone from stealing them. It's super handy! I'm also able to keep a few Post-Its pads in there as well, so I can easily have access to my notepads and pens in one convenient location. The case comes with easy instructions on how to reset the combination lock and how to program your own number into them. It's a quick fix for any valuables you'd like to keep safe and it's spacious enough for notepads and pencils. This combination locked case is also a great idea for storing expensive items like point-and-shoot digital cameras, watches, necklaces, or other valuables that you'd like to keep safe in hotel rooms while on vacation. This product has proven to be a useful aid in helping prevent theft so I'm more than pleased with this item. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent design, it has many compartments, it is compact and allows you to have everything organized, visible and accessible. The lock is a plus, especially for cases in which it would be left stored or unattended with things inside that are not for the use of small children. Recommended!

There is a zippered mesh pouch on one side of the case, a foldover flap that can hold 4 pens or pencils in little looped holders on either side for a total of 8 writing utensils. The bottom side has another half mesh pocket and two elastic bands which a calculator could slip into. The case was not stiff so it squishes down. You need to fill it with stuff to get that nice rectangular look and then the zipper handles fit readily into the locking mechanism, like a carry-on suitcase. I think this would be nice for a middle schooler. Right about the age when they want to start locking up their stuff.
