The cups themselves do a good job of not leaking for the most part but if they get dropped a lot the lid doesn’t quite line up properly so it will slightly leak. The cup also comes apart to make it easier to clean, you will need a little cleaning brush to clean the silicone straw that has a few spots that I’ve noticed start to grow mold but it’s easy to clean when a small straw cleaner brush. The cup is a great size for my toddler to hold and the cup itself hold a good amount of water. These are great cups! They are leak proof and very easy to clean I put mine in the top part of my dishwasher after taking the lid and straw out and they put back together fast and easy. My son had this exact cup for about a year until I got him these ones since they are the same exact brand and cups that I like. They fit into any standard cup holder and my son is 1 and a half and he can hold it with one hand perfectly fine to drink out of it. I'd give it a 5☆ review if the patterns held up to the usage, but I knew that when I bought them. The quality is still great. Up until now, I had just purchased the basic, smaller Zak cups from Walmart until I saw how well they would work for my child. My son is 17 months old, and he's been using these cups for several months. They're a great cup for a tiny human that has an understanding of how a straw cup works because there is no weight/flow adjustment. We moved to these when he got tired of Chicco straw cups. The green "goose" cup is my son's favorite right now. Unfortunately, you can't tell that there's geese on it. I don't put these cups in the dishwasher, but the patterns still don't survive the daily wear and tear of a toddler. Otherwise, they're a great buy. They don't leak unless you place pressure on the straw itself. So if you're wanting something that your child can throw down, toss around, and pick back up again without a puddle being left in the floor, these are a good option. I'd also like to point out that the straw is silicone, and if your child goes running around and falls, the cup itself may be painful to land on, but their mouth isn't going to get cut up from a plastic straw. Cleaning the cup is super easy. The top, and straw are dishwasher safe, and it breaks down easily for cleaning in the sink or a quick rinse. The body of the cup is not dishwasher safe and has to be handwashed if you want to keep a shred of pattern on it, but like I said, daily use and wear eventually start to show. These cups are colorful, easy to clean and they're a good fit for a tiny human who is ready to transition from a weighted straw to a regular straw cup. Great cups! Like all of these types of cups, there are several little Silicone bits you have to deal with cleaning, but I throw them all in a closed basket in my dishwasher, and it makes cleaning them easy. There is a tiny amount of leakage that can occur if it's held completely upside down, but not much, and definitely not a deal-breaker for me. The indestructible Bluey cup that survived teething and toddler teething! My 20 month-old is deep in the “everything hurts my gums” teething phase and this is the ONLY cup she’ll use right now. The silicone straw is super soft and flexible; she chews on it like a pacifier and it just bounces back, no cracks or tears after weeks of use. She’s dropped it off the high chair approximately 8,000 times (hardwood floors, tile, concrete patio, you name it) and it has never once leaked or cracked, or even popped open. I’ve stopped flinching when it hits the ground. It also holds 10 oz, which means I’m not refilling milk every 12 minutes like with her smaller cups. Bonus: the Bluey design makes her light up every time she sees it. Dishwasher-safe, drop-proof, chew-proof, and actually spill-proof. I’m buying two more so we’re never without a clean one.
