I've had no issues at all with scanning my finger print to unlock my phone with this screen protector, and I even registered the fingerprint before applying this and it still works no problem. Unlike other screen protectors there's no ugly cutout area where the scanner is. Seems to work pretty good for protection. It is a bit of a pain to apply, but not hard just take your time. The edges seem to want to peel up slightly, but that could just be from me constantly sliding it in and out of my pocket. ... show more

    • By far the worst screen protector I have ever purchased.
Probably the worst part about this product is the false advertising. Let me be clear in saying that this is a POLYMER FILM screen protector. Every bit of marketing and presentation for this suggests that it has some solid glass elements. Don't be fooled... this is simply a FILM and will not protect against shock. Only scratches. Secondly... two out of the three of these that I received were mislabeled and for a completely different phone... (I ordered for the S21 Ultra and received instead for the regular S21... TWICE!!!). Out of the one that I received that was actually for my phone, I'm going to put aside the fact that one corner of it was damaged straight out of the box and just focus on the quality... It was a perfect installation. No dust particles, no bubbling. HOWEVER... after just one day, the corners started to bubble. Pressing on them would make the bubbles go away, but only for a few hours... To sum it up: from the false advertising, to the poor quality. This is a complete waste of money. ... show more

    • I'm glad I got this, and yes zagg told me it's authentic
I've had zagg on and off since my droid X2 in 2012. Off and on to varying levels of success, meaning when it fails it's a huge problem. My s20 plus for example shattered from a 4 foot drop onto a brick sidewalk that had just enough unevenness to crack it, even though I had a decent case and a glassfusion. Still, no product is 100 percent and understanding this I bought this one knowing I needed to better keep it in my own hands and/or get a case with a lip that rose above screen at least 4mm. And damnit I'm so glad that I got this. It would be broken a few times over without it. And instead of having to pay ten (highly recommend, most bad reviews here are from self install complaints) for another protector and a trip to the zagg kiosk I'm still happy with it's look and level of protection. If and when you do though don't tell them you got it on anazon, they apparently don't like people paying less than 60. You can see one little wavy mark for each place where the start of a shattered screen protector or a shattered screen either way it acts as glass and is as bulletproof as you get. ... show more

Purchased this $40 best buy screen saver here on Amazon for less then $10 on Black Friday as it was recommended by my Asurion customer service agent. Not sure how protective it is as it is not glass, but a flexible film. The install instructions were a bit confusing, but I managed to get it on, though the edges tend to peel up often. The good thing is that the fingerprint scanner does work, unlike most of the glass ones I've been purchasing. It has a lifetime warranty which I will soon be trying due to the peeling on the edges, though so far I have not had any other issues. I will update my review after attempting replacement under warranty, but aside from the fingerprint scanner working most of the time, I'm not sure I would buy it again... ... show more

It was not easy to install I took the first part off as it states but it didn't separate like it was supposed to so the template dint work like it should. It's on the phone now but I had to touch it so it has prints on the edges....not happy with thi for the cost.

Love this screen protector. The included installation jig makes it easy to get a perfect install, so one protector is enough, you won't mess up 1 or 2 before you get one right. Fingerprint reader works perfectly, and there's no ugly circle like on the glass screen protectors. This protector is self-healing, which effectively means it's really hard to scratch. It can bang around in my pocket with some keys, and when I take it out, there will be lots of little indentations all over the screen protector, but within an hour or two they're completely gone. No permamant damage. I thought it was dumb paying this much for a screen protector, but I thought I'd try it since I've had such bad luck with a few other brands. Worth every penny, and I'll be buying one of these for my next phone. ... show more

    • Fits with Otterbox Case--but terrible to put on!
I have an Otterbox Defender case for my phone because I'm super clumsy. Finding a screen protector that will stay on even when I take my phone in and out of the case a lot has been a challenge. This one seems to do that, but the installation instructions are not easy to follow and resulted in a LOT of air bubbles. It took a solid 15 minutes to get them all unhinged, and there are still a few small ones. The screen is also placed slightly off center. Wish there were better instructions. ... show more

I put this on my new Galaxy S21. It was very easy to install vs the glass type. I like it except the phone doesn't read the finger scanner good. I have to try several times and press hard. The glass type works a lot better. I've used it for 2 days so I will give it a little longer to try it, but I may take it off. I like being able to use my finger print for my passwords. ... show more
