I have had this for several months and it done exactly what I needed it to do. Privacy works good... a little too good unfortunately. I noticed it made the screen darker, so I was having to increase the brightness of the screen to see, which resulted in shorter battery life on my phone. If I was outside with sunglasses on, I basically had to turn it to max brightness to see the screen enough to tell who was calling. All that said I could be reading something on my phone and people would ask why I'm looking at a blank phone until I showed them the screen, so it did its job. This week I was standing upstairs in my house next to the railing and dropped my phone. It bounced through the railing and downstairs on the stone tile floor. When it hit the floor, it bounced out of the "Apple" case (sure glad I spent money on the official case, lol) and landed face down. My heart sank. Surely it didn't survive that. I ran downstairs and picked it up and the corners of the glass were cracked and there was a large hairline crack down the middle. I peeled off the screen protector and my screen is perfectly fine. It was just the protector that broke. I went through Zagg to get a replacement and it was an easy process. They even give you the option to change to a different screen protector, so I ended up changing to a clear one this time and it only cost me $5 for the change + shipping which was $9.99 (if I had gone with the privacy screen again it would have been $0 +shipping). They even gave a discount on anything else for my phone, so I ended up getting a new case as well (since the apple one abandoned ship) at a discounted price and no increase to the shipping charge. Only downside is the replacement screen protector doesn't come with another plastic applicator so I'm wishing I had kept mine. I'm going to reach out to Zagg to see if I could get another one, but I figure it's probably normal for them to not include it. So yeah, keep it in a junk drawer or cabinet somewhere just in case you need it someday. ... show more

Utilizing the included screen tray, installation was very easy and simple. Great quality and worth the price. It does not affect the touch sensitivity at all. Does an excellent job of making the screen invisible when viewed by others from the sides, top, and bottom. One issue is a psychedelic kaleidoscope effect when looking at it through polarized sunglasses. Also, it inevitably darkens the screen when viewing it in direct sunlight. But these are minute issues that are unavoidable due to the physical composition of the product. Remember to register your product on Zagg’s website. This case fits great, almost edge to edge and provides good amount of 4 way privacy, the only reason I didn’t give a 5 star is because it cracked with very little drop. Even though Zagg has a lifetime replacement, they also charge $10 for processing and shipping last time I do a replacement, which if I wouldn’t have to pay if the screen didn’t crack so easily. ... show more

Well I guess I am going to have to find a new company for screen protectors. I use to use Zagg exclusively, they were always durable, long lasting, came in a variety of options and the replacement policies were nice. Now, I can definitely see a decrease in quality. I had this screen protector on and after a week i dropped it once and it chipped immediately. I had a screen protector once that lasted a year with Zagg… now it only last a week. Completely disappointed, the only thing they have going for them is that it is ridiculously easy to install and the kits that come in the box make putting on your phone a breeze. I love the privacy aspect of it but I am sure there are cheaper options. If it is going to crack in a week I would rather pay $10 than $20-$30 on what I assumed would be quality.
