Are you prone to dropping your electronic devices and cracking your screen? Do you dread having your screen look like a roadmap of the continental US? If so, this is the best brand screen protector for your devices. Here are the pros and cons for this particular screen protectors….and I’ll start with the cons: CONS: while they make it super easy to install these screen protectors yourself nowadays (so you can save yourself a trip to the mall kiosk), the directions on this screen protectors yourself nowadays were not very clear as to which way to position your iPad (speaking as someone who just traded in their 2nd gen iPad), which resulted in me installing it incorrectly and I covered up the camera. These can also be a little pricy ($80). PROS: even though I installed it incorrectly originally, I was able to remove the protector and reinstall it and it did not cause any air bubbles or anything. It adhered perfectly! These protectors do not impact the screen sensitivity either. My Apple Pencil is super responsive. In addition, Zagg warranties all of their screen protectors for the life of your device. My last iPad was 9 years old and my screen protector was about 7 years old. Super simple to register the warranty for the device (even though I didn’t buy it from Zagg and bought it on Amazon). I have used screen protectors on my devices for many years. Zagg has always been my preferred brand but this version is BY FAR my favorite model of a protector. As long as you line it up right, you can just drop it on the tabs and then press and hold your finger in the center. The adhesive then bleeds out from under the protector in all directions, ensuring no bubbles and a smooth finish. High quality, super easy installation, great adhesion. I bought this screen protector to go on my iPod (model A16 11in), and I’m very satisfied with my purchase. The screen protector was easy to install, and fit my screen perfectly. It came with easy to follow directions and a QR code to a video of how to install the protector in the best way to avoid air bubbles, which worked great. No air bubbles. The adhesion is great, it repels liquid well, and doesn’t really smudge up TOO much with fingerprints (but of course, there will be some fingerprint smudges) and feels just like the actual screen of the iPad. It also functions perfectly, touch sensitivity-wise. My favorite thing about this screen protector tho, is that it actually does reduce eye strain!!! That in itself makes the screen protector well worth what I paid for it! I used to get booming headaches from looking at the screen on my phone (and the iPad before I got this protector) for too long. I’m a writer, so I do a lot of reading on my devices, and this screen protector has really, REALLY helped reduce my eye strain! So, though the protector does cost a bit much, I’m VERY satisfied with it, and would definitely recommend it. It was also cheaper to buy it here on Amazon (at the time that I purchased it) than it was on Zagg’s website. Also, last thing, I love that if you register your screen protector on Zagg’s website, they’ll replace it for free if anything happens to it, even if you buy it on Amazon or at another retailer!     • Mismatched alignment pins and missing tools. Unacceptable at a $79 MSRP.

Don't spend a premium on this product expecting a flawless, easy installation. I've done over a dozen screen protector installs across different brands, and this one has major quality control issues. The four male locating plastic pins on the installation tray do not align with the indexing holes on the screen protector's installation sheet, making the entire tray useless for alignment. On top of that, they didn't include a plastic squeegee tool to help push out the inevitable air bubbles trapped underneath a massive 13-inch screen. While my past experience allowed me to manually freehand the glass and save the installation using my own tools, no one should have to compensate for poor manufacturing on a $79 MSRP product. The installation process is well thought out and easy to do. However, instructions about dealing with trapped bubbles is lacking. Fortunately there are YouTube videos that are very helpful to address the issue. Basically, you use a credit card edge to slowly move the bubbles to the edge of the screen. Do not wait to do this as the adhesive sets in 24 hours. The screen touch is silky smooth and enhances colours as advertised. Super easy to install and great quality. I followed the instructions and had it on in just a few minutes. I did end up with a couple small bubbles that wouldn’t squeeze out, and I was honestly annoyed and thought I messed it up. I decided to just leave it alone instead of lifting the protector, and a few days later the bubbles completely disappeared on their own. After a week of use I feel comfortable reviewing this item. For starters, I honestly don't recommend buying at full MSRP price, as it's not worth it. Thankfully these protectors regularly go on sale for 20-30% off which is the point you should get one. At the full 80 bucks they are just not worth it given the cons I'll cover below. Let me address the points brought up by two reviewers: the cutout at the top being misaligned for the camera and the FaceID not working after install. The cutout is not meant for the camera, rather the front facing mic on iPad Pros, something the Airs don't have. Regardless of Air or Pro, this protector is meant to cover the camera but unlike on the iPhone models it's not perfect. After install my iPad gave a "Camera Obscured" error and FaceID did not work. I was able to correct that however by retraining FaceID in settings, and after that FaceID worked but now with reduced face detection distance. While it still works when held in my lap or on a desk I need to be fully facing the screen for it to unlock, whereas previously as long as the sensor could see my face in general it would unlock. It's not a big deal for me but is worth noting as it might be for you. Other than price, that is really the only con. Everything else about this thing is what you'd expect from the Zagg brand. It is much thinner and of obvious higher quality than cheaper knockoffs, even Spigen, which still has issues with glare regardless of claims. That right there is the major difference between this model and the one that sells for half as much: glare reduction. I routinely use my iPad outdoors and this protector does an admirable job cutting the glare while not distorting the screen or color accuracy. I also have no doubts about its ability to protect the screen from everyday use as well as violent mishaps, as the Zagg brand has saved me over a thousand dollars in screen replacements in the last decade. Yes, Zagg is the most expensive of available options but a lot of that price comes from the lifetime warranty which can be claimed through the website or any Zagg kiosk that are in practically every mall I've ever visited. So there you go. TL;DR Worth it when on sale, FaceID works but not as well without protector and no the notch on the top is not misaligned. Install it properly, retrain FaceID after install if you have a Pro model, and you'll get your money's worth out of this protector. ... show more

I purchased a new iPad and was trying to find a screen protector that also reduced blue light. I learned the importance of using a screen protector after my last iPad had a screen scratch/crack from dropping it and I got zero for my trade-in even though the tablet was in good functioning order. I then tried 2 other cheaper screen protectors and got so frustrated trying to get the dust & bubbles out and think the blue light filter was non-existent. I decided to try this model even though it was more expensive & I’m so happy with it! First, it is super EASY to install with the tray provided and cleaning kit, only 2 teeny bubbles that were easily pushed out.
