This A/C is absolutely amazing. It's portable and so convenient. I've had it for several months now and I've only had to drain it once, and I live in Texas where it's almost 100% humidity.. lol. I recommend this unit to anyone who is needing to cool down either a small house or like me needs to help out the home unit because of the sun setting on their home... I have this one in a bedroom in the front part of my home and it cools off that room, a hallway, a bathroom, and a formal living room. It works really well. The only negative that I have noticed is that when the unit is on high it's quite loud... Definitely worth the money though.

I HAVE 4 LED 4000 SERIES LIGHTS IN A 10 X 12 ROOM. I WAS STRUGGLING TO KEEP THE ROOM COOL. I HAVE ONLY HAD THE UNIT 2 DAYS , BUT IT IS WORKING GREAT. HOLDING THE ROOM TEMP AT 75 EASILY. YOU DO NOT NEED TO HOOK UP ANY DRAIN HOSE IF YOU USE THIS TO COOL ONLY. YOU DO HAVE TO VENT THE HEAT OUT THOUGH. IT WAS VERY EASY TO DO. THE USNIT HAS TO BE ABOUT 4 FEET FROM A WINDOW. I GUESS YOU COULD BUY A DRYER VENT TUBE AND EXTEND IT , BUT THEY TELL YOU NOT TO. I SEE NO REASON WHY YOU CANT. I BOUGHT THE 1000 BTU UNIT .

This is a great portable AC unit. You can use it pretty much anywhere in your home. It does need be by a door or window. (Read the description for use in the ad.) It does cool a small apartment well. I have used it along with 2 small fans to help further push and circulate the air in the my desired directions. Gave 4 stars only bc it is a little noisier than one I used before. It's bearable and not a deal breaker. It sounds like the AC units in hotel rooms. -Better a little noise than no AC in the summer. I do recommend it.

This unit is quiet and helped us through the hot months with comfort. I have pets that cannot get to warm or hot and this portable A/C unit was great. The unit is very easy to set up and use. I love how you can remove the screens on the top and bottom of the back of the unit to easily clean. The sellers are great to work with if you have any questions or issues. I would recommend this unit to friends and family.

The item claims it doesn't make noise, from use experience, it does make unbearable noise. the hose needs to be elevated for the humidity water to flow from an elevated spot, which makes the overall unit clumsy and space so much messier. The unit suddenly stopped working, so I contacted Zafro for a solution once, twice and three email, but they ignored all my emails. Overall items is not worth the price and definitely not working as advertised!

I bought these as an emergency. With the hot weather, the demand for HVAC fixes and ordering of new units was delayed. We had to cool our house down and this came in handy. Worth the price for the comfort it gave us. Works in small room and large rooms. One of my rooms has high ceilings and I wasn't sure if it would keep the room cool. I was pleasantly surprised.
