The frames of these bars are very sturdy and I’ve never felt unstable while exercising with them. Obviously, if you are doing exercises with bad form it will be unstable but otherwise it’s fine. It took probably 30 minutes for me to build, not complicated at all. The grips are a comfortable texture and compared to other bars I’ve used, the padding is fine. The padding isn’t very thick, but much easier than bare metal bars. The adjustable height works well and this is one of the taller bars I’ve used. Despite the height, you cannot do L-Sit Pull-ups to full extension. I am 5’ 11” and at max height I hit the ground before my arms are fully extended. Probably 85% of the full exercise. However, this isn’t enough for me to return these because I can do my entire routine with them. That cannot be said about any other equipment at this price. Dips, Rows, and Push-Ups can be done perfectly and like I said L-Sit Pull-Ups are slightly limited if you are taller. The last small issue I have is the poor fitting of the rubber caps for the bolts. If you are careful you’ll be fine but it’s not very hard to knock them off and lose them. Rubber feet fit and work perfectly. I would definitely recommend these if you are trying to have minimal equipment for multiple exercises. ... show more

Super easy set up, 20 mins or so. Yes there are TWO of them, it’s a set. These are some of the most legit gym equipment I’ve seen for versatility and using your own body weight. They’re portable from room to room and I use them in front of the tv to include hanging upside down and doing crunches. I’m 5’8. Got on sale for $100. Best home gym buy ever. ... show more

The assembly of this product was ok, but three of the bolt holes did not line up and were 1/8" off. That said, I had to take a drill & bit and make the slight adjustment. Other than that, assembly was relatively easy. After a couple weeks of use, I noticed the bolts coming loose, so I had to go to HD and buy some lockwashers. FYI - lockwashers do not come with the equipment. In regards to the design of the equipment, I wish the bars were 6" wider. I'm 6'1" 215# and the bars are slightly too narrow to do bodyweight rows. I know it wasn't advertised/marketed to be used for rows... Just an assumption and it would have been nice. My mistake. Other issue I had with the design was the height adjustment nobs. Yes, you can remove them to adjust the height of the bar; however, you can also pull them (they are spring activated if not removing them) but it takes two hands to pull them both and it takes third to raise the bar... I gave this a three star because of the little things I just mentioned. After it is installed, it is sturdy enough to be used for what it was intended to be used for and I enjoy the push-up handles. I also like they are easily movable, as mine are in the garage and I need to move things around often. ... show more

So far I am very impressed by the quality and craftsmanship of these bars, being made in China, I did not expect to see this level of quality, fit and finish. There are no digs, bad welds, bad paint, mis alignments, bent or missing pieces, or cheap materials at all. They are Very sturdy and strong and function very well. I really like the 9 levels of adjustable height and the adaptability of the bars. I almost didn't order these because I was quite sure that I would have to send them back, but these are pretty sweet, and are a real decent value. I only have one small criticism, the height adjusting knobs are a spring loaded plastic knobs, and my experience with other exercise equipment that had these type of knobs is that they broke fairly quick, weather or not these will break remains to be seen, but I would have used something simple and more durable, like snap pins. This is a great product and very well built. They send you a pair. I thought it was only one. I wanted to keep them so bad, but I don't have the room for 2. I am still trying to convince my wife into letting me keep them . (don't get married 😉!!)
