I recently purchased a bike rack for my garage, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. Initially, I was skeptical about the quality because the baseplate looked like thin, cheap metal in the pictures. However, upon receiving the rack, I was pleasantly surprised by its heavy-duty construction. The rack is made of solid steel, most likely powder-coated, giving it a robust and durable feel. Installation was straightforward, and I had no issues attaching it to my garage wall. I was able to comfortably place both adult and kids' bikes on the rack. One feature that stood out is the dense rubber material used for the hooks that hold the bikes. This thoughtful addition prevents any scratches on the bike frames, which is a big plus. I opted to change out the screws for longer bolts to ensure a more secure fit. I mounted one side of the bolt to a stud and used a 150lbs drywall anchor for the other side. You can find these anchors for cheap on Amazon. With this setup, the rack is affixed to the wall with no chance of moving or shifting, providing peace of mind that my bikes are securely stored. (my house was made in 2004 the studs didn't align with the mounting holes, this may not be an issue for you). Overall, this bike rack is a great addition to my garage. Its solid construction, easy installation, and thoughtful design features make it an excellent choice for anyone looking to organize their bikes. I've included some photos to show the detail of the metal and what is included in the box. If you're in the market for a reliable and sturdy bike rack, I highly recommend this one.

I hung 2 e-bikes on this rack. They are sturdy enough to hold them. One improvement would be to have a small guide at the bottom to hold the bike straight. It works though, so 4 stars.

The trick to installing these wall-mounted bike racks is to make sure you are putting them into a stud, not just putting them into drywall. Use a drill, make a pilot hole, and use the right hardware. Once we had them up, the bikes hooked on nicely. I really like that I can swivel them! Makes it easier to store with the reduced space.

A very nicely made and robust bike rack. Sadly, the hook spacing is too narrow to hang full-size adult bicycles next to one another. Hook spacing is 13.5", but standard 42-44cm drop handlebars need at least 17" spacing to be able to hang side-by-side. See images. Potentially, you could hang a flat-bar mountain bike next to a drop-bar gravel or road bike. Alternatively, bikes could be alternated to hang from front wheel and back wheel; however, hanging bikes from the rear wheel is annoyingly tricky. This rack could be great if hook spacing were about 4" wider, otherwise, consider it useful only for little kids' bikes with very narrow handlebars.

I got these for my son's use in their garage. With three bikes to mount this set is perfect as we are provided four hooks. They appear to be quite strong and can carry sufficient weight, any more and the bike is at fault for being too heavy. The back plate is a healthy 1/8" thick. See the photos for a measurement. I included a closeup of the weld of the hook to the plate, seems clean and sturdy enough, all the weight is being borne on that weld. Everything has been powder-coated black and looks very sharp. I like the hooks being non-marring with a rubber coating. The brief installation manual offers two methods and hardware is included to make mounting for either, into stud walls or into stone/block with anchors. The fact that they are made to exploit the studs of a 16" on center wall is a good thing, almost a must-have, if not securing to stone or cinder blocks. Use a level for a nice proper installation. There is one design flaw which I don't like. The format is to have the wheels hang perpendicular to the wall. A bike is taller than it is wide, hence the floorspace requirement is higher. Hanging the bikes with wheels parallel to the wall takes less of a footprint on floor space, but will take more wall space. So that's a consideration. This is a well made, sturdy bike rack but the way of hanging the bike is not optimum.

So these hooks are built pretty solid, the general design is okay, nice rubber tips to prevent scratching, and basic hook design which are strong enough surely for most bikes. The problem is with the spacing between the hooks.. If you look at the product pictures, every example conveniently alternates the bike/handlebar types, so that they do not interfere with each other. How realistic is that?? Not very. We simply could not make any of our bikes work together without annoying bumping or inteference, they are simply spaced too close. If the hooks were four individual pieces, this may have made for a great basic setup. Unfortunately, this makes it unusuable for our use-case. If you have small kids bikes this may work, or alternating bike types like in the product imagery. Otherwise I'd suggest a different design.
