This is a quality set of 6 round dinner plates (10 inch), that are easy to clean and durable. The porcelain material makes them sturdy and able to hold up well in high or low temperature settings, such as the dishwasher, microwave, fridge, and even the oven/convection oven. Besides serving the main course or entree, these durable plates could also be used for serving salads, fruit, desserts, etc. These dinner plates have a raised edge/lip that takes some getting used to if you haven't had plates like this before. But this design is a nice feature that is advantageous when serving entrees or desserts that have a liquid portion involved, or that have runnier sauces that could separate or be messy, like with spaghetti or other pastas. In my opinion, the price is a little on the high side for only 6 dinner plates. At the time of this review, you got 6 (10 inch) dinner plates for $39.99 minus a 10% coupon, which brings the price down to $35.99. But the quality is there; they are scratch-resistant, plus they are a beautiful and elegant plate. The white interior with the brown border on each plate would go nicely with most decors, and they stack easily for storage. This set of plates also has a glazed surface, which helps with durability as well as the aesthetic of the plate, while also making them easier to clean. I wasn’t exactly happy about them arriving in Styrofoam, but I must admit, the Styrofoam was probably the best and safest way to ship them. None of them have a single crack in them, they are flawless, and their surface feels even. They are on the thicker side and it don’t feel like they would break easily. $50 for six 10-in plates is a good value, especially when they have this quality. I would recommend this product, though note it is an import not made in the United States. ... show more

I like this plate set. The size is good and I like the way they look. It's nice that it's not a totally flat plate and the ridge is a little higher which helps things not drip off too much. They're high quality and got a good weight to them.

When I unboxed these one thing that caught my attention was the silky smooth porcelain They appear solid and durable with some weight to them. Each plate is well made and can be stackable The only con is the value for a set of 6 plates only.

    • Lovely plates just perfect for casual dining.
100/100 We mostly use things like pasta bowls when eating because we’re pretty human-level casual around the house, but sometimes you need a plate. And ours were old and looking pretty bad. I got these to replace our 20+ year old set. They are great! Just the right size and the upturned lip around the edge is so much better than just a rim. Sauces and gravies stay on the plate! I haven’t found anything yet that didn’t easily fit, cut, etc. on these. The porcelain is well made and the glazing is even and smooth. The painted rim around the lip is even done very nicely. When we do set the table and have a “sit down”, these look great on the place mats with a napkin and ring in the center. Ultimately, is it worth the price? Yes! You can get cheaper, but I doubt you can get nicer. ... show more

These YUN TAO dinner plates came in a set of 6 plates. They’re made of a porcelain material and has a rinsed rim with a brown color. They’re 10 inches in diameter. They can be stacked. They have a high temperature resistance which makes them oven safe and microwaveable. They can be placed in the refrigerator and they’re dishwasher safe. I like that they have a rinsed rim which prevents liquids from spilling from them. They have a clean smooth finish and they’re durable to use. This set of plates came well packaged in wrapped in plastic, in foam padding, in a box, in a box... needless to say, these arrived unharmed. The plates are a simple design, with a little lip. Each plate is very flat... not sure how to describe it but I dig it. Who knew it would look so good? I feel like such an adult with my matching plates... I finally got rid of my mish-mosh set. These are great, not too heavy... about a pound each. They are microwave and dishwasher-safe. It also says oven safe.. but I haven't tried it. ... show more

These plates are beautiful. They are heavy and simply feels good quality. They are being used as “guest” serving plates in the house so that means they’re great. I love the beautiful polish on them and the neutral color scheme.
