Fat cat approved!! My baby boy is very heavy, over 15lbs and this has held up for the past two months without a problem. Great product and while it's pricey, IMO it's a good value because it's durable. It was easy to set up and it is on the bigger side for a cat tower, BUT it's stable and lasts. First off, this is a great quality scratching post - it just has a big design flaw. Both of our cats (a 15-year-old and a 2-year-old) loved it, and it seems to be made out of nicer materials than other posts we've had. We got it for the younger cat since he's pretty tall, and it worked well for his height. The sisal is kind of a mat that's wrapped around the tree, rather than rope, so it won't come unraveled, and the carpet at the base is good quality. After a little over a month of regular use by both cats, the tree wasn't showing any major signs of wear and tear. But one of the times the younger cat scratched on it, he pulled it over, and it broke in two pieces. I contacted the company, Yuloyi, and they got back to me almost immediately. Within about a day, I had a full refund. So bottom line - tree gets 3 stars because the materials they use are nicer than many, and it's a great tree for taller cats, but if it tips over, it'll probably break. Seller gets 5 stars for fast response and for making things right so quickly! ... show more

Perfect scratch pole. Trying something new since the previous ones I bought always had rope that eventually come off (big red cat syndrome). Hoping this will last a bit longer but it looks great.
