I buy and make a lot of these, and to date only put my mini hammer to one. but this was tremendous fun and when finished a masterpiece. it comes with everything you need. instructions are 97% clear and easy, which is saying A LOT. the fit can be iffy, but that is what the sandpaper and glue is for, isn't it? i never use the electrical because i don't trust them. so i cannot address that.

My first kit from this company, but it will not be the last! More than half of my 60+ wood puzzles have been mechanical, and of the buildings class, this was the most challenging and most rewarding. I spent many hours across more than a week completing the mini dollhouse I purchased on a request from my wife. It was worth every minute. The material is of high quality, the detail amazing, and the completed kit is a centerpiece of her displays. I found the instructions brief and lacking detail at times, but with some study of the illustrations, adequate. I suggest you have both quick dry super glue and simple white all purpose glue on hand. Also, small tools like needle nose pliers are helpful.

Omg the detail and thought that went into creating this kit is incredible. I am half way through- I work on it a couple nights a week after work & it’s such a lovely way to pass time. You will need a dedicated table to keep this on until you’ve finished. I purchased additional tools- tweezers, metal sander tools, WOOD GLUE, hot glue gun. I’ve enjoyed adding my own personal touch into it. I plan to buy many more of their kits going forward bc I’m so impressed. I love tedious crafts, and it is indeed tedious, but so worth it imo. I would not suggest this for a young person- I can see the average teen growing tired of it & it being far too detailed for anyone younger. It comes with 6 main things: laser cut wood boards- pop out planks you glue together to make furniture/walls/etc. Perforated paper sheets for decoupage. Non perforated paper sheets to cut out and glue. Materials such as leather, fabric, grass, beads for vases/chandeliers/knobs. And florals/foliage. And you can’t forget the amazing instruction book that’s so well done!

This is my third project. I was shocked at all the stuff you have to make. It did take me awhile because I took my time. I did run into some minor issues. Making the lamps for the bedroom. The chandeliers for bedroom and living room. It was missing a few pieces. I ended up using stuff I already had from making jewelry so it worked out. I added extra plants too. The wiring for the lights wasn't hard but the one for the den started smoking. I took it out but with everything glued together I don't know how I could replace it. All the other lights worked. I hoping to eventually find a light for the den at the craft store. It was easy to understand the directions. The quality is nice. The main frame and floors wood is really sturdy. I used Gorilla super glue and tacky glue. I Somethings are little tricky to make like pillows but just be patient and you'll get it. Also I didn't realize right away it came with sheets of diagrams for cutting certain things. Those are helpful. I'm happy with the results.

This is not a well thought of miniature house. The little black and brown punch outs ( tables, chairs, cabinet's, pretty much everything you need) comes out in pieces!! By the time you get to that page that has them in it it's to late to send it back or get replacement parts because you are a 1/4 to half done.. (customer service said put it back in the box and send it back) HOWWW??? .... it's not worth having to glue all of the pieces that break even though you are very very careful!!! Over half of the pieces don't come out I used a very small razor knife and or the slightest pressure and still broke most of the very thin black, green, brown assembly sheets ( wood) don't waste your time on it . I fought with them because I'm not sending what I already glued together and starting over!!! This is not a 20$ puzzle!!! Just my honest opinion....

I have built several kits and am comparing this one to the some of the other kits I bought. I thought the wood was a lower quality than others I have experienced - a few of the pieces broke when I tried to punch them out. The vast majority of the pieces did not snap together; which mean you have to use a lot of glue. I think it would have been helpful to include a "mm" ruler - I ended up buying one on my own. If possible, I think the wire colors should be easier to distinguish from each other. I have a magnifier and it was still hard for me to determine the white wires from the light grey ones. Overall, I like the finished product and have received several complements.
