    • Loving my new pool vac
Day 1 - the highest compliment I can pay to a vacuum is to say it sucks. And this one didn't disappoint. After having two Intex pool vacs, both of which broke at the on/off switch and therefore became useless, I was happy to find one that automatically turned on when immersed in water. By the time I did some research and ordered and got this one, the bottom of my 10' X 30" little pool had massive dead algae blooms and debris in the bottom and this little lightweight vac is just eating it all up little by little. Day 2 - still cleaning the bottom of old and new blooms a bit at a time and the little vac is still going strong. Day 3 - ditto, and on the same initial charge. Day 4 - decided to charge it even though it was still working fine on the initial charge. Day 5 - almost all of the algae is gone and I'm loving this little vac more and more. One review said the vac dumped debris back in the pool when he/she removed it. My trick that I learned from the other vacs I've had, is to put a dollar store toy butterfly net over the brush and let the debris settle into that. Much easier to do if you don't have to use a free hand to turn it off. And I also learned that the vac will stop picking up algae and debris when the screen filter is coated so it need to be emptied frequently. Note that it will not pick up any heavy or big debris but it's great for suicidal bugs and tiny desert leaves. In all, this vac is easy to use, lightweight, great price, easy to clean, and it suits my purpose really well. ... show more

This vacuum works great. The reservoir isn't very large so there's plenty of emptying when you vac a 18' x 52" round pool. The battery stays charged a long time.

The suction is terrible, I could not hardly get it to pick up a leaf. Next time I will go with the electric pool vacuum.

Ease of use is about all this thing has going for it. I bought because the title description says it will clean sand and dirt. While it does pick up dirt, there is no trapping it in the filter. Dirt gets blown out the exhaust back into the pool

This product will not charge very well, it it smaller than I thought and it has very little suction when I do get a small charge. DO NOT BUY! I bought it for my small spa bc the auto pool vacuum doesn’t fit so I thought this would be perfect. Nope!
