I read the reviews and the ingredients and decided to give Youngblood a try. I have used Lancome, Lorac, Clarins and Sarah Gellers primers in the past. I love Lorac's and Clarins primer the best because I do like the consistency. There are like a silicon primer base. But dont be afraid thinking its too thick. I tried the Youngblood's Primer and I love it! If you like a silicon type primer that you can put on thick or thin you'll love this one. If you like there are no harsh chemicals, you'll love this one. I have combo to dry skin and hit my big 5-0 this year. I can also still have breakouts sometimes (hormones) which stink. But this primer does not make my skin oily or dry, it puts a great base for under foundation, powder or both. During the week a thin coat goes on before my powder. For a big night out, I lay it on thick and let it dry and set. I do use all my serums and creams before my makeup and it all still works flawless. Love this Product! I am a 30+ year old female with acne prone skin and was so weary about buying this primer. I have considered it for years but didn't make the purchase because I seen how much it cost in the beauty stores and I couldn't justify the cost. On Amazon, I felt that I got it for a decent price (under $30 at the time) and I couldn't be happier. I have used it for over a month and even have my daughter using it. It makes our Youngblood powder last almost all day if not all day. I have better coverage then ever before. It goes on lightweight, has no irritation to my skin. It makes my powder foundation glide on, even out my skin tone and last much longer. IT is worth the cost if you consider that you are doing less touch ups with your powder throughout the day and it leaves your skin so smooth. This does what it is supposed to and makes my face nice and soft while at it. I especially love there aren't harsh chemicals in it and its surprising how many companies can't say the same. Really glad I found this primer. I only have to put my make up on once a day and it stays put now and trust me I have tried some of the best primers and this really is a nice one. Not only does it keep my make up on but in the winter the corners of my nose sometimes get dry and every since I started using this I don't have that problem at all anymore. It is by far the best primer I have ever used. It works well for large pores. It allows makeup to go on smoothly. The only primer for me after trying out many.

I’m not one to use a primer and this is my first time. I know I should have started off with something cheaper but I really like the way this makes my face feel. Pretty silky and there isn’t a smell to it thankfully.

The texture that this primer leaves is too matte for my taste. I like dewy make up. I usually don't like using primer because it feels like too many layers, my concealer and foundation usually apply well after my moisturizer and sunscreen... if I remember and if I feel like it I use this primer. A little goes a long way. I squeeze a medium sized dot on my finger and I take dabs at it to spread in patches on my face. It can cover my whole face but I focus on my t-zone and apples of my cheeks which have acne scars ... show more

So far I really like this primer. I was using Urban Decay which is fine but I think this works better. Nothing I have used actually makes the makeup stay on all day but I feel like this makes for a nice surface on which to apply foundation. I recommend letting your moisturizer sink in for a few minutes before applying this and I recommend letting this product set for a couple minutes before applying foundation. ... show more
