My dogs are heavy chewers, but they're also heavy tuggers. They loved playing with this and chewing on it. It actually lasted a lot longer than most of their other toys. Like 8-9 months! I liked the toy. My boys (an English Springer and a Border Collie) are not "aggressive" Chewers but they had a blast with it (at first). The novelty wore of quick with my springer (as he just likes to eat the rope). I expected the rope to be gone on Day-1 and it was. My border collie uses it as a go-to when he gets really bored. They both love the squeak but now that the rope is gone neither one knows how to make it squeak on their own. But when I make it squeak for them, it's like a brand new toy all over again! Again, my boys are not constant chewers and they tend to get bored easily, so I find this toy both suitable and durable for the needs of my dogs.

If your dog likes to fetch, tug, and chew, this is the you for you. The rope portion comes off but you add it back on. We take it off for most play. I have two moderate chewers, 40lbs and 55lbs, and one VERY “aggressive” chewer (a 60lb English bull terrier) who has chewed through the black “extreme” Kong toys, and firehose toys in less than 15mins. He’s nuts. He looooves this toy. It has held up almost a month and still in great shape. I also bought other chew toys the same day… those all had to be thrown away because they were broken into hazard-sized pieces or were just completely unusable.

I received this item quickly and in the expected condition but my dog did not like it. It is as hard as a rock and has NO give, therefore it would be great for aggressive chewers if it doesn’t have to be soft. It squeaks when the toy is pushed together in the middle. I would buy from this seller again.

This has been a great toy for my dogs. I was nervous to order more dog toys that may not last. My heelers are very hard on their toys. But this one has lasted very well. They love working on it and trying to eat it up. I will definitely be back for more toys from this company. I highly recommend this brand to fellow big dog owners, who are tired of having to replace toys for their big dogs way too often. It’s a great option for a long-lasting toy that gives your big dog a true challenge.

As you can see from the photo, we have a giant dog. He and our other 50 lb dog go through toys pretty fast, so we usually end up buying cheap ones every couple of months just to let them tear through them. It took them a day or two to figure out how to pull on this to make the squeak sound, but we've had it for several weeks and it's still fully intact, minus a tiny bit of shredding finally along the rope. Would buy again. Thumbs up.

Once again there's a lot of plastic through it the you and it's hard for me to get it to squeak but when my dogs get in a big group then it's more like "keep away." But other then that is a decent toy. Sometimes I attach the rope which is good my a group of dogs who need something bigger but other then that... It is what it is.
