Not sure if it lasted as long as my other Ego battery of the same size. However, overall, the battery works as expected. Came nearly fully charged, so ran it for around 30 minutes on my mower and then fully charged it. Basically lasted about 40 minutes fully charged. That is enough to do my front lawn fully. So I am very pleased as I can not do both the front and back and not have to wait for a battery to charge. Have also used it in the Blower, works great in that as well, didn't use for an extremely long time, but believe it should get a good amount of time on the back back blower if the mower is any indication. The charge indicator is not as nice as the Ego Battery's are. But it gives you the necessary information. Would I but this again, yes. It was a good price for a battery of this size and very pleased with it. Wish I could send my older battery in and have it re-charged or get new battery cells, allowing to eliminate the waste, and reuse existing Ego batteries. But perhaps, one day, that will happen. ... show more

I ordered a 7.5Ah replacement battery for my EGO lawnmower after my EGO battery died after only 3 years. I actually received a 9.0 Ah labelled battery. My old battery was a 7.5 Ah and usually gave me a break halfway through mowing the lawn to charge the battery. I think when it was new, it mowed the entire lawn if the grass wasn't too tall. This new YongerTool battery lasted almost 2 lawn mowings before it needed charging. I've charged it 3 times (too little rain this summer) and it takes more than an hour to recharge but lasts for more than a complete mowing for me. Haven't seen a drop off yet in battery life. I'll update if I can figure out how to report on battery life after multiple recharges. ... show more

I have lots of EGO products. I always thought their weak spot was the batteries. The batteries cost more than the equipment. The batteries will not last as long as the equipment, they will die before the equipment breaks down. You will always find the need to buy more batteries. That being said, I find it disgusting that EGO puts a premium price on their batteries. Their batteries are NO better than these knockoffs! I just bought two of these replacement knock off batteries and I will continue to buy these knock offs to replace the original EGO branded batteries. Ego only warranties their batteries for 3 years, they know they will die, malfunction, etc. I say keep evolving and developing these knock offs and ill keep buying them, so long as there is a 100 dollar difference in price! ... show more

I bought these batteries as replacements for the EGO battery because of the lower price. Well, you get what you pay for. The EGO brand battery lasted about 4 years. These lasted about 2 years before they would not hold a charge.

As mentioned in other reviews the packaging was very limited with no protective particles during shipping, but the battery arrived fully charged and ready to go with no damage. It was nice to right away start mowing my lawn without having to switch out to multiple batteries during the process. I was able to mow the back and front yard, some overgrown ivy and still have a charge to blow off the driveway. Now I may have to change this review in the future if the battery loses the amount of charge it holds in the next few months, but I am very happy at this time. ... show more

My battery arrived promptly as promised and was in good condition. It worked as expected for a couple of weeks, before developing intermittent issues and ultimately becoming inoperable. I finally reached out to their customer service and got a quick response. They verified the details of the malfunction and requested some documentation before sending a replacement. I use a lot of battery driven tools and know the fickle nature of the batteries. I was apprehensive about buying this product for that reason, but they handled it about as well as I could have imagined. I got to say, I was hesitant to try this out due to the mixed reviews. But I figured I'd give it a shot anyhow, and I'm glad I did. The first time I used it I swear it lasted longer than the original battery that came with the ego mower. I feel as though the battery indicator light is actually easier for me to see than the original battery as well.
