I purchased YOLOLIV Instream to round out all of my other owned "YOLOLIV" products. In addition to Yolobox Mini, Yolobox original, and Yolobox Pro I added YOLOLIV Instream to make my live streaming to TikToc and Instagram a breeze.. In addition to the "Vertical" format YoloLiv is by far the winner in this category. I am a one man "Show" and all of the Yolo products are a no brainer for me. "Instream" is really user friendly and I feel like have have a "crew" in my pocket. Like any new product there is a bit of a learning curve I have read some reviews that speak of bad transmissions, or choppy transmissions or audio issues these issues do pop up however if you know your equipment and understand bandwith these sort of challenges are easily corrected. So much of the negative I hear about Instream (and the family of products) is mostly caused by user error. I have never done a job that any of the Yolo products has failed me and to make sure (just in case) I always have "Back-up" with me. What I also like about the "Products" is the "Company" and the people who run it. They are always updating and coming out with Member suggested added features. YOLOLIV Technologies also has a great Facebook page that is a great place to learn about products, techniques, to share with other members and to ask questions of the "YLT" staff. I am always amazed how affordable (in the grand scheme of things) YLT products are for the production value... I know I sort of sound like a "Fan-Boy" however I am truly impressed at the versatility of YOLOLIV Instream and the "YLT" products..... Hope this information helps.... ... show more

    • *UPDATED* this could be a game changer…eventually
* UPDATED* so the first unit I got was defective. (Bad screen. I will say once I got in touch with the company, they were very helpful! Even shipped new unit before I sent out the old unit even though that wasn’t the policy since I’d had so many troubles! But there’s still some odd issues…. First and fore most I want to say I LOVE what this unit will eventually be. Honestly it opens SOOOO many doors to dynamic lives that there is no other way currently accomplish! Want to play Nintendo NES in a live? NO PROBLEM! you want to stream your video game to tiktok but don’t have computer access? EASY! You want to multistream to any platforms without restrictions with this and a computer or phone? YEP I did it using screen mirroring! This thing can change the game and be the go to device for those who want to set trends not follow trends! You know, once they fix the fix some very odd oversight issues😤 Here’s the problem: They did an update and added zoom, but apparently no one actually TRIED using zoom, or any other interactive live for that matter. What do I mean? Well there is almost a HALF-TO-THREE-QUARTER-SECOND-DELAY from the headphone port 😳 I’ve put audio in in every conceivable way, (mic, line, and multiple different cameras were tried as well as all setting checked and changed) and it’s all the same. Keep in mind this was across 2 different devices (at first I thought it was rhe defective device, but apparently this is the way it currently is) So what does that mean? Remember when you were kids and somebody would make your words and how annoying that was? If you try to monitor your audio, that is the level of bounce back, you will get when you speak. You can’t maintain a conversation when your own voice is being repeated back to you at a delay that’s almost mocking. Like attempting to use this in zoom is laughable. There’s no way I could even have a conversation with somebody with this much delay let alone be able to do a presentation. Also, if you were trying to interact on the live with another account, it would be impossible to maintain your speech pattern, effectively with the delay I’ll still be able to hear the other side of the live. Now, if you’re just streaming one-way and not bringing people in sure it’s working great. But I’m trying to do dynamic lives with other people involved. I’ve spoken to tech-support and they said it can possibly be fixed with an update once they get back from Chinese new year. (January 28th plus however long it takes to make the update.) and I won’t lie, once that major issue gets fixed this thing will become a staple in the live streaming game. But until it does, it’s only useful if you’re not trying to interact in anyway on the live and monitor your audio personally, while streaming. It’s still odd to me, though that they would do an update to include zoom and apparently nobody even tried it. There are a couple other odd things: 1: setup instructions are in the box as a QR code. The code though links to….nothing. So odd this that a tech company that’s been in business would drop such a vital step. I talked to tech and they said they told those who are responsible for it, yet weeks later it’s still the same. 🤷🏻♂️ 2: if you try to contact the company through the website, you can’t. It doesn’t give a email address it gives a form. But when you click submit you get a pop up that says “failed”also reported to the company and no change. 3: when you try to create an account, you have to create a password. If you type in a password with a symbol, such as an ! Or # it will say wrong password. It doesn’t tell you that you can’t put in a symbol. These are just inconsequential things, but for a tech company to release a product with so many basic errors is just odd. Don’t get me wrong when this is all fixed I plan on leading the way in new types of lives using this technology and toting about it from the rooftops. And I will update the review when that happens. But for now that’s where it sits and I’ll let you decide if you want to get in early and deal with the issues or wait ... show more

If you are planning to invest in this device and want a review about its performance and quality, this is for you. Video quality issues, you will not be able to output 30 fps, you video will always be choppy. Audio quality, 1 out of 10. Very crappy quality. At first i thought i was doing something wrong. I used a pair of pro grade headphones and listened to some music videos directly from the device. To get a fair comparison, used the same headphones and listened to the same videos but directly from my mobile phone. The difference in quality was shocking. Customer support, polite yet helpless. Verdict, wouldn't pay more than $50. Will i recommend anyone to buy it, of course not. ... show more

Great idea - cheap execution. The device's internal battery lasts only about 5 minutes of work and then it crashes and turns off, it only manages to work with an external power supply. In any case, the broadcast quality is very low, considering the fact that the intention is to improve the quality with professional cameras, in this case the device is useless ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Yolo Instream does the perfect job of being a multi camera switcher and encoder to proffesionaly stream a live production in a vertical 9:16 format as a content creator or for a client. Here using the brand new DJI Action 3 and its vertical orientation as a USB webcam and a Sony x3000 action camera.
