The appearance is great, and functionality is pretty good. Only complaint (and not a deal-breaker) is the metal on the latch mechanism is rigid - obviously - and a person with a larger wrist will find the watch trying to sit slightly rotated as the rigid part wants to be on the flat underside part of your wrist. A “chunky” wrist would not have enough adjustment length to work. I could see the latch opening if you are being active, but for everyday wear, works well.

After using it for almost a month, I have been pleasantly surprised by how much I like it. After the initial fumbling with attempts to figure out how to adjust it properly, I went back and looked at the photos on the site, and it made more sense. I was able to make the adjustments and get a comfortable fit. Features and Design: The watch band is sleek and stylish, and I like the cracked leather look of it. That is what drew me to it after all. Its build quality is pretty good and appears to be well-made and comfortable. The strap fits snugly on your wrist once adjusted, and the band seamlessly connects to your smartwatch and looks good on your wrist. Performance and Functionality: One of the standout features of the band is the fact that it is easy to get on and off without difficulty. However, the one drawback to this is that I have bumped the end of the band with the magnetic latch several times, resulting in it popping open and having to re-latch it. The frustrating part is that I have a passcode set on my watch, and each time it comes loose and loses contact with my wrist, the passcode has to be re-entered. Not a deal-breaker, but a stronger magnetic latch would go a long way in making this an excellent watch band. Pros: * Impressive build quality with a comfortable fit. * Silicone underlayment for resistance to moisture, adding to longevity (no issues so far). * Once adjusted, easy to get on and off. * Easy to install on your Apple watch. * Looks good on your wrist. Cons: * Poor instructions for adjustment. * Weak magnetic latch could be improved. Conclusion: In conclusion, the band is a great watch band offering style and comfort. Its stylish look, comfortable fit, and easy on, easy-off functionality make it a great accessory for your Apple smartwatch. However, the weak magnetic latch and lack of adequate instructions are areas that could use improvement. I love my Apple Watch, but I hate that awful rubber watch band they included with it. It is uncomfortable and it screams CHEAP to the world. The Lexarmer Magnetic Sweat Proof Silicone Leather Link Band however is comfortable and it looks like genuine leather. The band has a quick release mechanism like those metal bands do, so you can quickly and easily remove the watch and put the watch back on. If the band should snag on something and the release pop open, the band stays attached in one continuous loop around your wrist, so your watch doesn’t come crashing to the ground. Unlike the Apple band, which will let your watch drop off your wrist if it pops open. Being silicone, the band is comfortable, and it doesn’t pull at your skin like the rubber band nor does it tarnis and corrode like a metal band. To adjust the band, a clamp flips open and the band slides through the clamp to the spot where you decide it’s comfortable and then you close the clamp. The only downside to this band is it is only made for the larger Apple Watches. It isn’t available for the smaller watch cases. I would recommend this watch band to a friend.

I’ve had at least 12 different bands for my Apple Watch. The latching mechanism on this band is my favorite. I have three other bands in various solid colors with this latching mechanism and I will probably never get a different type. The other bands I have are all Rubber or silicone. They look sporty however, this one looks classy. It looks so much like leather that when I tell people it’s not they can’t believe it. It’s a beautiful, elegant band and I’m very very happy with it.

It’s an “OK” watch band for the money. Its not a square fit on my wrist and the magnetic could be stronger as it has came undone on multiple occasions. The color is nice and it has a good feel to it. Buuut because of the weak magnetic it will not do for my job as it will come undone at the least opportune time. But for the money not a bad watch band.

The initial adjustment was a little cumbersome. The only instructions are 4 pictures on a sticker on the plastic case that the band comes in. So it wasn’t at all apparent that there were 2 different steps involved. The one on the case is for the actual adjustment of the band length. To do that, it’s best to adjust it, then try it on your wrist and take it off for further adjustments. Actually putting the band on your wrist is where the magnet comes in. The top part of the buckle is just magnetically attached, at which point it folds out like a traditional metal watch band. So this explains the curved metal portion of the band that is attached to the buckle. Once you get the initial adjustment dialed in, this band is very easy to put on and take off. Additional pros: 1) The inner portion of the band that is against your skin is actually silicone. Hence the description of leather and silicone. So this is sweat resistant where a full leather band would not be. 2) It looks sharp, I got the dark brown and it has black attachment points, which blend in perfectly with my space gray watch. 3) Once adjusted properly, it’s much easier to put on than a band with buckles and more consistent fit than velcro bands that you can never seem to get the same twice in a row. I can’t say how well the band will hold up over time. I don’t plan to use this for working out, I have other solid silicone bands that I use for that. So I just expect it will see light splashing when washing hands or being in the raid. But the leather is on the thinner side because of the silicone under layer.
