    • I can’t sleep well without it

I can no longer sleep without this Yogasleep sound machine. It only has a few different settings but it really doesn’t take much for me to fall asleep if this thing is on. However if I don’t have some background noise it can be much harder for me to sleep. My significant other has always had trouble sleeping and this helps him sleep much better. Pros: sleeping more soundly, falling asleep easier, wonderful background noise, portable. Cons: could use a few more settings as options, a little addictive in nature, harder to sleep without it. Overall a very good product that is both portable and makes sleeping a dream. Also the price point is excellent in comparison to other models. A worthwhile buy in our book. ... show more

I honestly was iffy on using a sound machine with our daughter and decided not to bother. We wound up taking a newborn sleep class that recommended one and after learning that it’s easy to wean baby off the sound machine (I was nervous we’d create a fussy sleeper), we decided to give it a shot. We’ve been using it for three months now and love it. I’m also happy to say if I forget to charge it or accidentally leave it home while we are out, she can still sleep just fine. But this is great just to drown out background noise to help her fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer. I personally like no sound and light while I’m sleeping but we still have her in a bassinet in our room and this doesn’t bother me at all. I honestly chose the Rohm for the reviews and, maybe even more so, for it’s look. I preferred the white which is why I didn’t get the baby version. It’s small and chic to look at and love that we can use it as she gets older or even for ourselves down the road (as I could see this coming in handy for traveling) and it doesn’t scream “baby gear”. Love the little string that allows me to easily attach this to the stroller, car seat or diaper bag. At night, we typically just set this on the nightstand or even near her feet in the bassinet (every once and awhile she’ll kick it just right and switch the type of sound that’s playing but that causes no harm and makes us laugh while she still sleeps away). There are only 4 buttons so it’s easy to turn off, control the volume or switch the sounds while juggling the baby in one hand and is simple for grandparents or sitters to figure out right away too. It fits in the palm of your hand so takes up hardly any real estate in the diaper bag while traveling. It easily lasts through the night and into daytime naps on one charge. I tend to pop it on the charger daily just because. I really love that it has a USB charger (I just use the plug-in from my iPhone) instead of batteries! I would definitely recommend this to anyone with a baby/toddler, someone who travels or even a college student (this would have come in handy in the dorms/college apartments). The quality is obvious and I feel like it’s honestly already laid for itself and we plan on using it for a long while. New parents, treat yourself to this or register for it! Highly recommend. We use for when baby sleeps and we believe it helps ! Very light weight , small enough to take anywhere an everywhere ! Lasts a while not sure how long lol but long . Just make sure to charge & ofc turn off when not in use. The sound level gets pretty high & loud & includes I believe 3 or 4 different sounds. We only use 1 , it’s all preference ... show more

This sound machine is great. It’s super small and portable, and it creates big sound. I travel a lot for work, and this slips easily into my carryon and keeps me from hearing hall noise and the people in the hotel rooms next to me. My only critique would be that the buttons are on the outside edge of the unit. Often times, it will turn on inside my travel bag. The media could not be loaded. Okay I just got this product and I got to tell you before opening it, I could tell it was awesome. It is small sturdy and loud. It came at a good time while I'm trying to wean down from the fan after sleeping with one for 43 years and I'm going to Europe in two days so it came just in the nick of time. I was a little worried which can trigger underline anxiety for some like me about sleeping without anything while there. But now, I'm telling you I've tried it out by staging bedtime like a few minutes it's amazing highly highly recommended. I am awaiting the big one in a few days. ... show more

We love this sound machine. It has a long battery life. Our first one is over 2 years old and has taken quite a beating, but still works! We own 2 of these rohm sound machines and will keep purchasing!

    • LOVE this, but died less than a year later

So, overall we have loved this sound machine. It has a few different sounds with adjustable volume. It’s also so easy to take with us when we travel. For the size, it gets pretty loud, which is great. My sister has this for her toddlers and we used it while on vacation since our bedroom was closest to the living room. It drowned out the noise of 4 toddlers crying and screaming perfectly lol. Only downside is that we’ve had it roughly 8 months. We now use it every night throughout the night and have started to leave it plugged in. Unfortunately, it won’t turn back on as of yesterday. I will be buying more since I liked it so much, but I do wish ours had lasted longer. For the price, and how much we used it though, I’d say it’s worth it. ... show more
