    • I Handles Redwood... droppings
I bought this because I moved into a cabin in the mountains, I owned an indoor broom, but I didn't want to ruin the nice, clean indoor broom. Plus, I didn't think an ordinary indoor broom would have bristles strong enough to push around redwood acorns, twigs, branches, needles, etc. This broom gets the job done! The handle is lightweight, but sturdy. It comes in a couple sections so storage is compact if you're tight on space. The handle is also a decent length. I'm 6'2" and I don't have to hunch over to use the broom. The bristles are nice and strong and stiff, perfect for cleaning off the deck surrounding the cabin. The entire thing can be left outside; I don't think the handle will rust (it's painted/coated) and the head is a strong polymer/plastic, so you can also just hose it off to clean it if you had to push around some dirt/mud. Hint: If you want to leave the broom outside and don't have a shed, buy yourself a little hook to hang it outside of your home. For me, if I leave the broom sitting on the deck, moisture/water will stay under the broom head and, in my case, create a permanently wet spot on the wooden deck. ... show more

    • Sturdy and easy to assemble
Quite sturdy connection at the head/pole, the weak spot on most brooms. I love the adjustable pole, just remove the 3rd section to shorten it. All in all, a pretty nice broom for yard work.

Bought this for after mowing / projects. Contractor didn't sweep up their stone in the driveway. This broom has stiff, but not too stiff, bristles. The appropriate amount for dust, grass and small stones. Good outdoor broom

The broom arrived in one compact box, with four or five pieces that fit together quickly. The handle sections telescope and lock in snugly, creating a longer-than-standard handle that makes sweeping more comfortable. The bristles are firm, the overall look is surprisingly attractive, and assembly was simple. I used it on my deck and garage floor, and it handled both surfaces well without requiring me to bend over much.
