We had a different platform frame for our Foam mattress but it had center supports on each side and front that seemed to be toe magnets. We kept stubbing our toes, and at one point my partner had thought she had broken one. Thus began the search for a new platform frame without center supports. This one caught my eye. But I always read any negative reviews. I can understand the reviews about the ends getting damaged during shipping. This is a heavy box well over 50 lbs. It's long, at over 7 feet. I can easily imagine some poor delivery person dropping it on its end. Unfortunately, there's only a 1/2 inch of solid foam packing on the ends. My box showed some telescoping but not enough to damage the ends. The Mfg should extend the box and add more inches of foam packing for such long and heavy box. Another complaint was about squeakiness. We never experienced this as we tried hard to make it squeak :). There are 21 screws that have flat washers and lock washers as well as thread locker on the screws. Once everything was screwed tight, it was rock solid. I got around the lack of any mounting holes or bracket for attaching a frame by using heavy duty zip ties to secure the frame to the head board. I would like it if the Mfg. had the two front posts to be surrounded with foam to protect the stray toe. I'll fashion some foam around the legs incase a toe makes contact.     • Squeak can be fixed!

We bought this bed frame as a quick and inexpensive solution for our very fast move. Most importantly we bought it for the height as we need time to sort through our boxed items which easily store beneath the frame and out of sight. After about two weeks we noticed some squeaking and as someone who is a light sleeper I immediately googled solutions. It’s as simple as this: keep your Allen Key Wrench and tighten the screws down some more! As tight as you think you’ve screwed them down, inevitably they can start to loosen. It took less than 10 minutes and has completely fixed the issue. We now have our little tool in a secure location so we can maintain as needed. ... show more

This arrived in a well packaged box with all the parts and everything was tightly wrapped and plastic wrapped as well. It takes a small amount of time to assemble, and easy enough where 1 person can do this by their self. I thing the hardest part was holding and getting the screws started, the small allen wrench they give you is cheap, so if you have some of your own, use your own tool. Pretty good frame, the weight of the frame isn’t too heavy. It was pretty simple build and sturdy was completed. I added bed risers to mind, but the 18” height was pretty good of the from as well.

Pretty decent frame, one draw back would be that sometimes when you don't have your mattress perfectly lined up it'll sink between the bars. But it's pretty decent quality and easy to put together. Definitely better for the price than other frames

I really like my new bed. The height underneath is sufficient to accomodate covered plastic bins (11-1/2 inches tall) for storage. I like the fact that all 4 corners are rounded. I found the numbering/lettering of the pieces for assembling to be confusing. That was my reason for giving it only 4 stars rather than 5. Fortunately, my son was kind enough to put the thing together for me. Good night! PS: I was a bit trepidatious about the fact that, upon opening the box, the bags of rails and slats appeared to have been previously opened. This led me to believe that it was a returned item and may have been damaged or missing some parts. However, my concerns did not come to pass. All the pieces were there.
