This dresser is actually heavier than my Swedish namebrand dresser. Assembly was similar and a simple task using the included instructions. Once assembled, the unit feels very sturdy. I am pleasantly surprised to find that at the time of writing, this dresser also costs less while being delivered to my door compared to the aforementioned alternative which I would have to go pick up from my local store.

This seems like such a nice stand, however it was delivered to me missing parts. I had completely sorted the pieces into piles when I realized I was missing all of the hardware. None of the screws or other pieces needed to put it together were included in my (very large and heavy) box. There were also two pieces badly scratched, it looks like they would definitely show when assembled too. Overall, I'm very disappointed.

This dresser is a beautiful white with nice handles. Spacious drawers and a rather large sized dresser. As most items these days it has some built in plug-ins and usb ports on top. My major downfalls with this item are that the chunky cord in the back to provide power makes the dresser sit quite far from the wall. Also building it was a multi hour nightmare with very poor directions. It also does not seem as sturdy as it should be for being wood.

This set of drawers is very nearly five stars and would be if not for a few issues. First, let me say, I think it is beautiful. My son wanted to claim it for himself when he saw it put together. He really liked how the outlets were on the top of the dresser, and that is a nice perk. It came with the power outlets that just screwed on to the top hole and threaded out the back of the drawers. Now, let me back up and talk about the assembly. This arrived flat packed. It was heavy, but that is to be expected. It took me about 3.5 hours to assemble. Also, not surprising for flat packed furniture like this. I found that the contents were quite organized, and finding what was needed was easy based on how it was organized and written out in the instructions. In general, the instructions were pretty good, but there are a couple of spots I wonder whether it might have been written wrong. Perhaps it was user error, but I feel I am pretty good at following directions, and I needed to change the way I did a couple of things when the directions just didn't make sense. In addition, the two pieces that went across the middle back just were not stable. It does tell you to have someone hold them. However, this instability continued to be a problem and caused splitting of the middle pressboard. We used wood glue, and I think it will be ok, but this was frustrating. I feel if the directions just had the partially assembled pieces turned over once assembled it would have been much easier, but it continued to give directions with these pieces on the top, and that just didn't work out well. I also had two other spots where splitting occurred, or a piece of wood pulled up and needed to be glued. These were manageable, but I don't feel like it should have happened. In general, the materials felt like good quality. I do wish the boards on the front of the drawers were thicker though. It felt like nearly every other part was thicker than the front of the drawers, which are the part that gets pulled out, so I feel it has the most strain. Now, that I have listed the cons, I do really like this. I think if the issues I mentioned were fixed, or the price lowered this would be 5 stars in my book. I am happy with it overall.
