    • Cheap and broken
The vanity itself is almost impossible to put together. This is easily the hardest piece of furniture I’ve ever put together, and I wish I read the reviews before hand. Not only were there millions of pieces, many came scraped or broken with pieces of paint pealed off. However, this isn’t even the worst part. The worst part came when I turned on the light which was extremely dim and bugging. The next day it seemingly doesn’t turn on at all. Ok, so the quality of this vanity seems decent enough. Can’t comment on the light quality because that’s not my thing. I’m here for the experience of assembly, which I did today. I’ve been in this “dad” role for over 20 years and I’ve put together many pieces of IKEA-style furniture, which this is. This vanity has A LOT of pieces. If you think you’re going to set aside an hour or two to put this beast together, you’re sadly mistaken. This is a 4+ hour job, with hundreds of screws to turn and things to line up. You’ll find yourself in some uncomfortable positions for sure. There are 11 drawers, so you’re putting them together piece by piece, including the sliding pieces. I found that all the pre-drilled holes were accurate and this was very helpful. The instructions are not great. I’ve seen better, but I’ve also seen worse. There will be a few things that will have you scratching your head for a bit, but you’ll figure it out if you have experience with this type of stuff. The box is comes in is heavy too. Mine was going in the serving floor, so I de used to carry it up piece by piece, which was another “fun” aspect of this. You’ll want make sure you have a little room to spread the pieces out and work. The toughest part for me was putting the drawer sliding pieces into the unit because those instructions were strange. Also, be gentle when inserting the drawers when they’re ready. I forced on in and ball bearings started falling out. The drawer still works without the lost balls, but it doesn’t glide as smoothly. Bottom line, I was happy that the prefabricated pieces and holes were all accurate, so to me that means the piece is decent. Leave your frustrations somewhere else before you start, because you’ll need patience for this one. You’ll also need to give yourself some rest after it’s completed. The factory wasn’t thinking about ease of assembly when they developed this, but now that I’m done, it does feel like it’s acceptable in terms of quality. ... show more

It's exactly what I expected from the product description and photos. I looked for a long time before settling on this vanity. The large mirror and the built in lighting is perfect, plus lots of storage in the drawers. The only downside was that during shipping the mirror became cracked. I was rather let down upon opening the package and figured I was destined to be stuck with a damaged item. I contacted product customer service with a heavy heart and to my surprise they were quick to respond, friendly, and offered quick solutions. Very impressed! ... show more

Assembling this is one of the most confusing things you could ever do. If you really hate someone, I’d suggest getting them this and having them put it together- it’s pure torture. The instructions aren’t too thorough with how things should be screwed in to the vanity. Don’t even get me started on how long it took to put in the drawer sliders- they should’ve come pre-attached. Instead, you get a single page with confusing info on how to disassemble the sliders into N1 (the sliders on the inside of the vanity) and N2 (the sliders on the drawers themselves). My order came in with a broken mirror and missing parts. I gave up and am looking for alternatives. If you like a good challenge and like big puzzles with missing pieces and barely any guidance, shoot your shot. If you value your sanity and time, I’d look for something else. ... show more

I really do love this vanity, however the first one they delivered was completely destroyed, as well as the box. The pieces were missing and falling out of the bottom of the box upon receiving. I waited another week to receive the replacement, and still had a few chipped and crck3d pieces inside. However I am grateful the lights and electronics all worked and the glass and mirror were not broken this time. It took a whole week to put this vanity together. It's complicated to put together if you've never put together furniture off Amazon before. However I had a general idea of how everything worked due to all the furniture I ordered from Amazon. It still was a long needy process and my entire dining room and living room were covered in boxes. I had to move all of the pieces from the first package to the the replacement box and tape it back up to ship back due to the first box being destroyed. Overall I am happy with how it came out, it is a little wobbly However. I love the glass top you can see my make up palettes through it, and i love and mirror with light. Surprising the small stool actually works well even for bigger girls. Love that it has extra storage. The material is cheap however, flimsy, and not the best deal for your money. When I first received the package on piece was broken. Company was great at getting me a replacement but also sent a whole box of the other pieces that I had to dispose of. Within a week of having it built the mirror light stopped responding and would not turn off. I unplugged it so I could sleep at night and now it won’t turn on. ... show more
