I live in a one bedroom apartment and wanted a crate that wouldn't be an eye sore. I LOVE this crate and so does my Australian Shepard puppy. It was easy to assemble and the directions were very clear, IMO. I read some complaints on the plywood breaking or being cheap. I can see how you could crack or split the wood if you try to OVER tighten the screws so be mindful of that. The only thing that makes me nervous about this crate is the lock. If you have a trained dog or one that isn't an escape artist, it should work fine but I could see the lock potentially being easy for a smart dog to figure out how to open, but you could use a back up lock mechanism on the door as well. I also love the amount of shelving space that I have on top of her crate. Make it easy to decorate and blend into my place just like another piece of furniture. Worth every dime. Extremely sturdy. Looks beautiful. Easy to assemble. The only thing I wish it came with, is a tray or board for the bottom. It's very difficult to add one once assembled so you have to take it apart and add your own. Easy to open.

Overall a nice kennel. However, some of the fasteners (receptors) are cheap plastic and are easily dislodged from their position and spin causing some creative choices to finish completing assembly. Hopefully, it will hold together with the adjustments made. Wheels are cheap, plastic used when metal would work much better, wrench provided is flimsy. The cage is very beautiful and sturdy. Once put together, I was able to sit on top of it without a problem. My issue is the bars are hollow. It only took her 15 minutes maybe to bend those bars. So be cautious when purchasing this cage, it is extremely heavy and too much of a hassle to take down.

. Almost possibly surprised to find out that this crepe would hold two Cairn Terriers at one time with plenty of room. I actually really love the fact that it was the same height as my desk and my study so I was able to put the crate right next and use it as a workspace. The quality is nice enough to go in most rooms and the easy cleanup tray underneath makes it a bonus ... show more
