These have stood up to continuous sunlight and still look great, drain very well after rain. That's pretty much all the good points. These are a bit hard to put together, they don't cover much area for the price, I'd rather get a roll of similar material for way less. My dogs want nothing to do with this fake grass as well Not recommended

I ordered these to cover the small landing as you step out my back door. My dog's dishes sit there and he likes to relax there as well, especially if it's hot. I was hoping to both improve the look of the deck landing and add some comfort, and these artificial turf tiles did do both. They're not really difficult to snap together, but you do have to pay attention to which direction the turf is laying to get the best appearance, and it can be a bit fidgety to get all nine tiles together. Also pay attention to the size of your area; 9 square feet is NOT a large area and these tiles are not trimmable.

So, I don't have a dog. I can't speak to the permeability of these tiles, or whether they make an appealing pet toilet. However, for display purposes in my retail job, these tiles are great. They mimic the look of real grass, are modular, are lightweight, and can be separated and stacked for easy storage when not in use. The tiles are backed with a black plastic grid, and lock together with tabs and pegs, on the sides. The "grass" has a grain to it, and leans in one direction on each tile, but I feel like that adds to the verisimilitude. The two different colors and layers of grass blades are also a very nice, realistic-looking detail. One concern I had was that these shed a lot of "grass" and plastic when they first came out of the box, but, after taking them outside and shaking them a bit, they seem to be done shedding. It would help to have a vacuum handy when unboxing these! However, they have not since shed on the tabletops or other parts of my displays.

Most of the tabs are broken, so they don’t snap together and if the ground is anyway in level they come apart. For the money you spend these are not worth it

These are really nice and I like I can configure them in different ways. The turd is attached to the little grid with plastic screws so it can be detached easily if needed. When cleaning you do lose a lot of grass pieces but I image that will be less over time. It looks nice and full though and the grid is small enough I don’t think it would cause issues with bigger dogs feet. I actually plan to use this in an aquarium though and the little lifted grid may be very useful for cleaning.

They come packed in a box, Don't unpack this inside, do it outside because the amount of shedding grass is just outrageous. It took me forever to get these panels to stop shedding grass. The texture of the grass is nice, its nice and long so its not scratchy and is nice to walk on. Drainage is ok. Don't expect to put this together and be able to carry it around all together, the locking parts are just pins in holes, no snap to lock feature. The grain of the grass does all go in one direction which is nice, you can get it to be pretty blended with a lot of manipulation. Overall it was a lot to get this set up and ready for human use, they will need a good scrubbing if you're wanting to run your toes and fingers through it.. but after that its sort of enjoyable.

We install artificial sports turf for schools and municipality parks departments and I've seen this style of modular turf panel. This system is easy to install on a firm, level and even base that is framed in to a given space to keep it from moving around. The panels are generally stable but I noted inconsistent shedding between individual panels this is more than likely just loose unattached fibers that didn't get discarded after fabrication. What I like about this modular system is how easy it is to replace damaged or worn panels. My only concern long term is how readily available this specific style is in the future. The turf itself is soft and comfortable to barefoot walk on and the overlap blends fairly inconspicuously.
