This is my first set of detail brushes. I have only had time to use one of the five that came in this set, and only once, so time will tell on how well they hold up to repeated use. So far, I am pleased with the quality of the brushes; the bristles seem nice and soft and appear to perform the cleaning well. I will need to read up on the proper care and cleaning for boar bristle brushes.

This detailing brush set is a solid choice for anyone looking to clean those hard-to-reach areas in their car. The variety of sizes is great for tackling different jobs—larger brushes work well on wheels and engine bays, while the smaller ones are perfect for vents and interior crevices. The bristles are soft enough not to scratch surfaces but still firm enough to remove dirt and dust effectively. The only downside is that the bristles on some brushes shed a little at first, especially with heavier use. Also, while the plastic handles are lightweight and comfortable to hold, they don’t feel as durable as some higher-end options. Overall, for the price, this set does a great job. Just don’t expect pro-level durability, and you’ll be happy with them!

Review of Detailing Brush Set -5 Different Sizes Premium Natural Boar Hair Mixed Fiber Plastic Handle Automotive Detail Brushes for Cleaning Wheels, Engine, Interior, Air Vents, Car, Motorcycle @ $6.99 These are made in China, of course. They are not boar’s hair brushes as some people prefer and recommend. These were purchased to use cleaning my engine bays on my vehicles. They can be used to detail inside your home or vehicle too, or a plethora of other places you want to clean. The bristles are quite soft. You get 5 different sized brushes, and the brush heads are pretty close to all the same length, just the diameter is different. The overall length of the brushes diminishes slightly in size relative to the diameter of the brush heads. There are holes in the handles for hanging the brushes on pegs. For the price (cheap), not much in the way of longevity is expected with these. Since cleaning my engine bay on 2 vehicles will not be a regular occurrence, I did not want to spend a whole lot of money on detail brushes. Thus far, I have used the largest and next to smallest to clean my dirtiest engine bay on my oldest car. It wasn’t the biggest of jobs, but the brushes performed quite well. I rinsed them thoroughly and plan on using them again. Since I did not use every brush on the one engine bay, I do have the others left to use inside my vehicles until the brushes fail. It is a plus that they contain no metal parts, which helps to reduce scratching other surfaces. I am pleased with the purchase. I included before and after pictures of the job performed.

These are nice, soft detailing brushes. So far, I haven't had trouble with dropped bristles but I've only used them dry. I only have used the middle-sized one of them so far because I really didn't need all 5. It's good to have the others as a backup, though.
