    • Great for the price (For your safety do not confuse alarm with protection)
First off this is my third self-monitored DIY Chinese price point home alarm systems (second with SMS functionality). I am familliar with the awkward menus and clumsy language in the manual and system. I can honestly say there are only a few functions this is missing. I would absolutely recommend it, but only to someone who is patient. Wins: -It works with all of my sensors -You can individually name the sensors (via text message to the panel). When triggered you see the name (I.E. kitchen door) rather than just the sensor number. -Works well with SpeedTalk Mobile SIM cards (cheapest service I could find at 250 texts per month for $60 per year -Window/Door sensors are stylish compared to my clunky looking old ones Needs Work: -It has an option to schedule Arm and Disarm. The fail is it will set it to Away only, meaning the PIR sensors are monitored. If you set a schedule for Disarm, Arm has to be set (default is 00:00). I scheduled the Disarm for 6AM, but didn't notice the auto Arm was default set to 00:00 (12AM). This meant I set the system for Home at 10pm, the system switched it to Away at Midnight, and my large dogs would set it off around 3AM when they would move around the house. This was frustrating to trouble shoot as my last system allowed for independent scheduling of auto Arm and Disarm. -You cannot disable the tamper alarm. This would be nice for those of us that have it in a closet where if something was triggered, the SMS or call would have already gone out way before the panel may be found/destroyed. (taking it off the mount allows for easier troubleshooting an issue and adding new sensors in place.) Lastly I will say this is a home alarm system, not home protection. It will not stop an intruder or their intentions, that is up to you to decide how best to handle. I advise against thinking this will protect you, it is an excellent warning system of what is happening, that is all. ... show more

The system was easy to install and set up. Only wish was that the USB power cable was longer. I will buy an extension seperately. The sensors are great and the double sided mounting tape is strong. Be advised that one side of each door/window sensor is less sensitive than the other side. This will affect the installed orientation. Got a 4G sim card from Speedtalk and within an hour I was receiving test texts as I checked each sensor! This system is a good choice for those who can monitor their own system. ... show more

There have been several break-ins in my neighborhood the past few months. seems as if the whole world has gone crazy. I purchased this alarm system to have some peace of mind since I didn’t have any luck with central monitored service. not only expensive but also lacking in customer service. This alarm is a terrific alternative. The set up was very straightforward my husband had it done in around 30 minutes. The siren is LOUD on its highest setting but can be adjusted easily. The sensors are compact enough that they don’t look horrendous or stick out at all and the monitor itself is also Nice looking, sleek and modern. The sensors have already come in handy a couple of times if I forget to close a window before I leave. it’s synced seamlessly with my iPhone 12. all I needed was another Sim card which I was able to get easily from my phone company. I can also control the alarm from the keypad or remote control, this system is versatile and very convenient! The pet mode is accurate. Took a couple of test runs to get it just right. we have had the system for a month now and not once has my cat set it off. My husband and I work total opposite shifts so we rarely see each other. The message mode has also been helpful for us. if I have to remind him to get milk on his way home from work, or not to forget his lunch before he leaves. This alarm system has truly been life-changing for us. Worth every penny! I don’t see any reason why anyone would need to pay a monthly service fee to a monitoring company with this device available. ... show more

I don’t like they don’t have a website or YouTube video to help guide how to install or understand the product more and it doesn’t connect to anything where police would be notify if some one breaks in and the app is useless

The media could not be loaded. My neighbor told me there were homeless people lurking around and asked me to call him if needed. I told him I have protection now. This alarm is not expensive, and there are 5 sensors with a super loud siren , siren itself is optional, with it or without it, the alarm works, the alarm has its own speaker with softer sound as well. I have siren on. It is really loud about 120 db. I actually only need 2 sensors. The installation was not hard either. I installed the control panel and test the SOS button and the siren to make sure it works and then I attached the sensors to my doors and it was done. I do not place the control panel near the entrance as most people do. I place it and kind of hide it about 10 feet away and only our family know where it is. I feel very safe now. I know for sure intruders will be scared by the loud sound and the neighbors will be alarmed in addition to me. ... show more

    • Perfect for a basic home intruder alarm system
We used this with the home only version, so no SIM card and remote setting. I wanted something for upstairs and downstairs that would let me know if someone came in at night. This kit was great. Super good price for a basic set up for the downstairs entrances. We have 2 small dogs that easily didn’t disturb the sensors. The alarm is LOUD. We tested it to find a good spot and decided on the bedroom. The kit is packaged well and my husband and I were able to get everything set up and running within 30 minutes.
