The media could not be loaded. The 16-piece kit includes everything I needed to secure my doors and keep my home safe. OK, I revised my rating from 2 to 4 stars. This is a very good system for the money. It's very finicky and the manual leaves much to be desired. Also their supposed support at "[email protected] is "NON EXISTENT" so you're on your own. But persevere and you'll get it working. I had to do a "factory reset" and start all over. Unplug the siren while setting up, else you'll go deaf. - you can't set "AWAY" mode from your phone if out of WiFi range, so if you forget to arm before you leave home you're S.O.L. You WILL however receive messages via cell phone for any alarms when system is armed. - some sensors seem to work (they light up when magnet is removed), but they don't trigger an alarm. If this happens, Go to "Accessories" on your cell "Tuya" app, click on the "+" and activate/push button on transmitter. This will pair. If it still doesn't work, remove the accessory (swipe left) on the list and repair. This worked for me every time.

I did a lot of research to find an economical alarm system that allowed for more than a few sensors. The sensors work as does the Alarm unit its self offers a lot of customzation that others did not. This system does not limit you to just a hand full of sensors as some of those other higher price systems do that would only cover your living room kitcheen and another if lucky. I bought Two so i could get the sensors i needed to bug every window and door having a complete perimeter alarm, Not like those other ones that cost a furtune do not come with enough sensors with those others someone could break into your bedroom steel all your jewels and the alarm would never know WOW. You can have agood alarm system that does not require a monthly monitoing fee. You can have the same protection via wifi and your phone. I have also installed a few interior cameras and have install interior sirens an exterior sirens with a blinking light. This unit will give you good service and piece of mind at a great cost.

Worked great for 3 months. Now it does not let me know if its triggered, activated, or deactivated on my phone. It use to send and audible ding and message. Now nothing for 3 days. Tech support is not helpful.

The media could not be loaded. I was really pleasantly surprised at the build quality and overall ease and simplicity of the setup process. Installation was also fairly simple and straightforward, although I ran into an issue installing sensors on two steel clad doors. After some troubleshooting, it appeared that the steel door skin was interfering with the magnetic component of the door switch. I was able to overcome this by making a simple shim out of a piece of scrap wood flooring, attaching that to the door itself and then attaching the smaller component of the switch assembly to the shim. Please see the attached photos and video for additional detail. The app is surprisingly simple and once you’ve become accustomed to it, it’s easy to use and has a lot of functionality. I don’t intended to purchase the monitoring service so I’m satisfied with how this performs as a stand alone system . The only negative comment I’ll make is that the included USB power and the external siren power cords are both entirely too short which really limits where you can install the main hub. I chose the only elevated electrical receptacle I have on my first floor and it worked perfectly. I originally attempted to locate the hub elsewhere, but the power cord was so short the hub, if wall mounted would have been below wall switch height.

Great value for the money. Just what i wanted in a non-monitored security system. Instructions on setup a little hard to follow but other than that is a great unit.
