What happened to the world that made it appear significant that I share my review of a tub mat with the interweb universe? The world is in chaos. We are facing political, international, and environmental catastrophes from every direction. And the seller is begging me for a review - of a tub mat... It is a tub mat. It fits and acts like a tub mat. It does all the things a tub mat is supposed to do. I have no idea if it will be durable or good quality or easy to clean - because we just got it. But I can confirm - it is a tub mat! Glad I was able to contribute to the commonweal...

It secured my footing while showering in the tub. Few months ago I slipped and fell in my tub while taking a shower. This mat makes you confident in moving on the slippery surface. The water drains easily through the holes and underneath the mat. The mat is secured with small suction cups and it will not move or slide around. The material seems to be good quality. Stays clean for a few months of use now.

Bath mat, extra long, covers whole tub. Mat has slight plastic smell after removing plastic package if you hold right up to nose, not noticeable at arms length away. Unrolled bath mat and laid out flat overnight with weight on ends. Have a smooth bottom fiberglass tub. Cleaned tub with cleaner and rinsed. Weted bath mat and laid in tub. Started from middle pushing down on every suction cup working out towards sides and ends. Mat does stay in place. Only makes sense that mat and feet are slippery if you soap bottom of feet and don't rinse feet off right away. After showering, rinsed mat in place pushing water towards drain with palm of hand so soap and dirt scum don't build up on mat. After a week noticed a few specks of dirt do collect under mat. Probably will need to pull mat up occasionally to clean bottom of tub and mat anyway. Blue mat looks nice in tub.

Hands down one of the top three WORST purchases I’ve ever made on Amazon. I’m obsessive about reading reviews but now I’m questioning if most people were high when they left theirs? I purchased this to keep my 1 year old from slipping in the tub and it’s an epic fail. It will not stick to the tub despite trying as hard as I could and pressing each individual suction cup. The second I started to fill it up it started to float. I pushed it back down and watched as the ends started to curl under. Save your money and skip this product.

I ordered this because my boyfriend was uncomfortable with how slippery our new tub is. First impression: I was pleasantly surprised by how vivid the color is! It sticks to our tub great - so many suction bubbles on this thing! And it definitely adds the friction my bf was hoping for. :) UPDATE: After about a month, it has slid up about 2 inches. I kind of lazily put it down the first time, so I pressed on each suction cup this time. Will update to see if it has slid again. (Not that it's a huge deal) UPDATE 2: It still slides very slightly over time. Whatever, honestly. It only takes 10 seconds to replace.

We have a soaker tub. I have been using this mat for several months. I always rinse it, turn it over, rinse the other side, then rinse the tub. Then I hang it on the side if the tub so it can air dry. Never had any problems. A few days ago, I took a bath, then was interrupted by one of my kids before I could do my rinsing ritual. Forgot about it for a couple of days. Went to pull it up tonight, and there are red spots all over my tub where the suction cups were. They haven't come off with bleach, or barkeeper's friend. I am so frustrated and ticked off. My pretty (and expensive) soaker tub now has permanent red stains in the bottom. All because of a 14 dollar plastic mat that was left down for a few days. Ridiculous. I think there must have been some sort of chemical in the mat that caused the discoloration. Mildew would have come up with one of the cleaners I used. Do not buy this if you care about your tub!

I used in our guest bathroom/kids bathroom. I have always hated it becauce the bathtub has some unsightly hard water stains and surace scratches that I couldn't clean up and really bothered me. So it's hard to love a bathtub but mine feels 100 times better now. The the suction cups are great and it covers the entire surface which I love for my little guy. I have yet to clean but I think this will be easy enough to just throw in the dishwasher when the time comes.
