They appear new and do not have scratches on the glass. They two I have are bright and consistent. Get some microfiber cloths to help install them. Even gloves can leave smudges.

Ordered 4 of these, 2 burned out after around two weeks of use. The first one the seller sent me a replacement after I sent a picture. They wanted me to send second burned out bulb back for the second replacement. I am not going to waste my time for these crappy bulbs, I will use the 7 bucks and my time to buy a hortilux bulb.
