    • Can’t stay in tune.
It looks and feels good, but terrible in practice. I put the tuner in front of me and when tried to play single long notes the only indicator was jumping without stopping. I put my hard rubber Meter mouthpiece back and the tuner became stable again. Plus, I had to use tape on the neck because the mouthpiece sunk down without leaving space to tune the instrument. I am fairly new to playing the soprano saxophone. Found this mouthpiece easy to play. Tried several different reeds and found what works well for me. Very pleased with my purchase.

Slightly to large for my soprano necks, massive leaks and would require me to put a thicker cork on. Metal tarnishes very very fast. The tip opening is MASSIVE, I dont have an accurate way to measure this but I can say the 7 does not correlate to the tip opening. I also reached out to the company to try and get measurements and never received a response. Worth a shot I guess I mean it looked nice! Dont get me wrong it plays, just not a lot of available info so its a gamble. Just a side note I bought the #6 gold version of this and it is AMAZING. ... show more
