Works great. Easy to install. Just pop the old ones out of the ball sockets with a screwdriver and pop these new ones in. It takes all of 10 minutes. My trunk/hatchback stays open now.

I have a Veloster that I added an aftermarket spoiler. Since this added to the weight the stock struts had a difficult time supporting the hatch in cold weather or when parked on an incline. In these situations I have to support the hatch with my hand or the hatch just comes down and closes. These struts are the same size, but stronger than the stock struts. Great cost-effective replacement for any who has modified their Veloster. Install is relatively simple, but it would be better and easier with two people. One to hold the hatch and the other to swap the struts. ... show more
