This shaker is perfect. Like all YETI products, it’s extremely durable and feels built to last. It mixes my protein powder (Nitro-Tech) easily with just a few shakes and about 6–8 oz of water. The wide opening makes it simple to add large powder scoops without spilling, and the lid seals tightly with a solid snap on the drink spout. No leaks, great mixing, and exactly what I was hoping for in a shaker.

This is the new upgraded version of the old helimix bottle and it works great. I have been using it for about a month and it’s been very helpful for my pre workout and intra workout drinks. The lid works well and stays locked. Very good value for the money. Very easy to clean. Big enough size so I can fit all the water I need for my workout. The temperature seems fine but it’s not hot enough outside to test. The material is good as well and no spills happen. I was worried yeti would mess this up but they ended up making it perfect.

A while ago i stopped using the wire whisk ball in my blender bottles because they rattled a bunch and had to be rinsed/cleaned, and I just didn't like messing with them, so I just stopped using them. This would result in some clumping occasionally, but I didn't care. I saw this product and figured what the heck, I'll try it, this could work better than what I'm currently doing. It definitely mixes better, doesn't leave any clumps. One note, somebody I saw somewhere said this smaller one I bought (20oz) does NOT hold 20oz... so the FIRST thing I did was measure out 20oz in my Blender bottle and pour it in. It fits. But the water is going up right about to the very base of the spout part at the top of the lid where you put your mouth, so you're using close to the entire lid volume in addition to the cup part to get it there. But that's 20oz. I didn't think it would hold 20oz looking at the image online, but the cup is wider in diameter in person than my blender bottles. I do wish they had something in between 20 & 27, like 24oz, but whatever. I didn't want one as big as the 27, so I stuck with 20 and I like it. Cap clicks very loud & stays tight, maybe requires a bit more force to open and close than a Blender Bottle, which I find to be a good thing because I want my drink secure when mixing or traveling in a bag. Might just be because it's brand new though and it won't always be that way, who knows. Anyways, hope any of that helped someone.

Works as expected! Great shaker without the extra noise of an agitator that's needed with other like products. Seems like a durable product. No leaks and its a plus that it fits in my car cup holders. A little pricey for what it is, but isn't all yeti products?

I had two of the original Helimix cups and wanted two more. Then I found out they were bought by Yeti and the lid design looked a little different. I bought them anyway, and figured if I didn't like them I could just return them. First off, the base cup is identical to the originals, which makes me very happy, because I love the way they work. The lid is definitely slightly different. It was more difficult to snap open and shut, which sucks for me because I'm not a gym bro - I'm a cancer patient and the Helimix lids were already at the limit of what I could open and close. Also there is something about the back of the hinge part where my finger got stuck and pinched the first time I struggled to open the lid. It bruised my finger pretty good. I've never had that happen with the OG cup lids. Other than the lid design, though, I'm very pleased that Yeti didn't change the design of the cup itself, because these cups are amazing. I love that they really do shake up all the powder without needing a whisk ball. One less part to clean; one less part to lose. I've used these with hydration powders, protein powders (both whey and vegan), breakfast shake powders - and that helix design destroys them all, giving me a nicely well-mixed beverage.

All I need is a shaker that can mix milk powder and protein powder, and this works perfectly. No clumping and way easier to clean than my previous shaker with one of those plastic mesh layers.
