Review after living with the product for around a year 1. Seems to be of excellent quality, showing no signs of wear 2. The lid is SLIGHTLY difficult to open and close at first (after living with it for a brief time, it's perfectly okay though and you get used to it very quickly) 3. Because of the lid though... not exactly easy to open or close with one hand (maybe possible but I wouldn't plan on it)... I've adapted to just giving it a little slap on the top to close it (it also gives a nice audible snap when opening or closing, so you can be sure it is closed)... so two hands are needed but it opens and closes very fast ^I find this to be a non-issue, but I've seen people mention it....I open all my bottles with 2 hands so idk. it's faster than a spin top and I haven't had any leaks (for water/thinner liquids and preventing leaking during transport, I would feel safer with a spin top like a Nalgene. Never tried water in the helimix though, it could be okay but idk) 4. Doesn't leak at all! And I'm shaking this thing a ton, so if it was gonna leak, it would have started by now. 5. Great size for my use (if you plan to use it for water... that would depend on your preference and needs) 6. Fair price! 7. This thing BLENDS! I make overnight oats with peanut butter and whole milk......this thing liquifies everything and never gives me any issues (sometimes with my old shaker it would be very difficult to mix the oats with the PB/milk). I've even had to break out a spoon on my old shaker to poke at it so it would start mixing before, but just a few up and down swings with the helimix and it's all mixed and ready to go in the fridge for morning! (which of course....I still have to excessively shake the blend in the helimix just for good measure, but it's not needed) 8. Blends or mixes so easy that it actually saves me time! 9. You can see through the sides! 10. Measurements help you be consistent when you are making stuff in it (such as I always put my oats to the 10oz mark) Oh, and it's EASY to clean! Like VERY EASY!

I've used quite a few shaker bottles over the years, and this one has quickly become my favorite. The vortex-style design mixes protein powder surprisingly well without needing a metal ball or whisk, which means fewer parts to keep track of and clean. The bottle feels durable yet lightweight, and the leak-proof lid gives me confidence tossing it into my gym bag without worrying about spills. The wide opening makes it easy to add powder and water, and it's much easier to clean than traditional shaker bottles. Being dishwasher safe is a huge plus. I also appreciate the generous capacity, which leaves enough room for shakes to mix properly without making a mess. It’s a YETI! Very sturdy and durable like the rest of the product line! Bottle design is awesome. I like that it doesn’t need a mixer ball, as it’s one more thing to lose. It mixes perfectly with no clumps or residue whatsoever! It has a loop on the lid that makes it easy to carry around opened or closed! I saw some people complain that it was too hard to open but that just means you need more protein powder, right? I find it to be easy to open and close. Also the hard seal means it doesn’t leak. So yeah. 10/10 I’m impressed. I’m probably gonna buy another one for when mine is in the dishwasher.

I generally like yeti’s elegant simple designs as they’re always very practical and are very easy to maintain which is a huge plus for me - don’t need special brushes to clean the nooks and crannies. The one star removal is to because the closure of the mouthpiece doesn’t lock to mix so you can easily spill it on yourself, if you don’t hold it down with your finger. Maybe normal but as a half-athlete, I wasn’t expecting this and found it slightly annoying. However when you do hold it down, no leakage occurs - wouldn’t call this leak-proof though: leakproof to me means you can close it, put it upside down and it won’t leak. Anywho still kept it as I like it very much. Love the navy color, its 20oz size is perfect for a protein shake, portability. Also, it’s lasting nicely - just a note: I do not like throwing plastic in dishwasher so it’s staying nice and new.

Works great. Used them before Yeti acquired this brand and it is just a well made and sturdy protein mixer. Easy to clean and simple. Yeti did make some improvements to make sure the pour cap doesn’t accidentally open and create a mess of the kitchen when shaking, so that is even better.
