I own many Yeti items, as they do everything they saw they will...keep things cold or hot for a reasonably long time. They are well-made and last for years. I bought this one because I liked the slightly smaller size (26 oz.) and wanted one with a handle. The other larger tumblers I have do not have a handle. This sometimes makes it difficult to hold when full...bit heavy. Color is beautiful.

I don't do reviews too often, but I had to say something about this YETI cooler. The color is so adorable, hot pink. You can just feel how well it's made and the quality. I have a few other yeti coolers one that I can put my Diet Coke can inside, etc., but I looked at all the other ones on Amazon that were on sale. Read the reviews, but I just decided to spend more and purchase yeti and I'm so glad that I did!! It keeps the ice so very cold for a super long time. The lid seals so very well. It just looks so cute. works so good. I love everything about it. This is one of those times where paying extra is worth it so if you're wondering if you should get the yeti or go for a cheaper one don't hesitate pay the extra money for yeti you'll be glad you did. Also, the quick delivery was great.

Yeti is a great brand for quality and holding temperatures for a long time with the right lid. While the tumbler can hold hot drinks, the default straw lid isn’t really ideal for hot drink sipping so you may need to find an alternative lid. I tried a couple magslider brands but didn’t like that they weren’t leakproof if I tilted in the direction of the magslider opening so I settled on the Kurotel brand which has a snaplid and straw 2-in-1 lid. Working well so far but I have noticed it’s not as tight as the original Yeti lid, which really is VERY TIGHT. Also if you primarily drink cold drinks with the original straw lid but also worry about it leaking if you tilt the tumbler or gently knock it over (meaning the lid stays on but still leaks from openings), then you can buy some of those rubber straw stopper accessories. Those help to keep liquids from leaking out the lid opening for the straw and from the straw itself. And those are pretty affordable too, less than $10 for several.

I love my YETI 40 oz. tumbler! Especially in the “King Crab” color! If that name doesn’t scream YETI, I don’t know what does. Anyway, I love this tumbler - it holds a ton of liquid and keeps it cold for a very, very long time - noticeably more time than other popular name brand products of the same type. There is no taste from the inside of the cup - stays neutral and doesn’t pick up flavors of any of the liquids I’ve put inside it. The comfort is pretty good - ergonomic and at the same time, if you have weak wrists, carrying anything full of 40 oz. of liquid by the handle could strain your wrist - so check yourself. The only design complaint is that when my cat rubs her face on the cup, it’s a little top-heavy and tips over. If you don’t have a cat - so sad - but you wont have this problem.

I rarely give 5 star reviews. What’s the point? It just sounds like raw-raw hype. I’m the type of person that checks out the three star reviews to get a true and honest assessment of an item. That being said this mug is FANTASTIC. I would recommend it to my friends and family. Its insulation is incredible. Its durability is awesome. It is the perfect size; it fits my car’s cup holder. The lid is tight and doesn’t leak; It will leak if it is turned 180 degrees, upside down - but only out of the straw hole. There is no way around this, it is governed by the same laws of physics as the rest of the world. The only down side is the price point, but hey - if you want something that works… it is worth every penny. If you think I am just another raw-raw fanatic… check out my other reviews on Amazon. I call it like I see it. Junk is junk; most things are just “acceptable”; few things are worthy of 5 stars.

Let me just start off with the fact that I was SO EXCITED to purchase this particular mug. The color is STUNNING. Like Yeti mugs could get any better? This new color swatch is everything I've ever wanted. Now here comes my sad story. When it arrived, it came in pristine condition. I immediately washed it and filled it and went on my way to use it. I brought it to the gym to use while I was on the treadmill. It was a game changer for me. It's a bit on the heavy side when it's full, but that's okay with me. So after my workout, I went to go get changed in the locker rooms. I set my yeti down on a flat square bench so I could change. Someone wearing a towel managed to walk by and knock my Yeti mug down onto the floor. I picked it up and at first it looked fine and I took a sigh of relief. After further inspection I noticed it was dented on the bottom and the paint scratched pretty deep in multiple places. I was devastated honestly because I like my things in pristine condition and the fact that I took it out on its first use and it got damaged broke my heart. I thought it was going to be a bit more durable than that especially since it didn't really fall that far. So moral of the story is, the paint isn't as chip-resistant as I expected it to be, or as advertised and PLEASE, if you can, avoid user error or dropping it at all. I'm super disappointed that now it looks busted but I will still continue to use it as it is a nice mug. It functions perfectly other than that. Its generally pretty leak proof, comfortable to hold, keeps drinks very cold, easy to clean, and fit my needs well.
