This bowl is very well made and feels like the high quality I've come to expect from YETI products. I originally purchased it for family camping trips, and it has worked great outdoors. One unexpected use is that my daughter loves using it as a fruit bowl. The vacuum insulation helps keep fruit cool and fresh for longer, especially on warm days. I’ve purchased 4 different sizes of these Yeti insulated bowls in an effort to keep various salads & dips cold longer at outdoor summer parties, & they have not disappointed. When contemplating these purchases, I was curious about how much food could fit in each bowl size. For reference, here’s what I found perfectly fit in 2 different sizes: Bowl Size 4.5 Qt - 5 lb Potato & Egg Salad Bowl Size 3.6 Qt - 1 lb Macaroni, Tuna, & Peas Salad, or Fruit Salad with 1 entire large Cantelope, 1 entire Pineapple, 1 Qt Strawberries, & 1 Pint Blueberries I haven’t used the 1 & 2 Qt bowls yet, but they should work well for dips (hot or cold) & smaller portions. Because of their thoughtful insulated design, typical of the YETI brand, these bowls are beefy & have a bit of weight to them, which makes them feel substantial & worth the cost for the food you’ll save from spoiling at outdoor summer events or potlucks. In addition, I heard countless guests raving about the style & color of these bowls (White & Ridgeline). Another thing to note is that when looking for the size bowls available from Yeti (which I didn’t even know existed), had I not dug deeper, I wouldn’t have known about the 3.6 Qt size, when selecting from the 4.5 Qt size page that features other sizes, but not the 3.6, and vice versa, & the same with the smaller bowls. Not sure why they are grouped as they are, but if you’re looking for a particular size, expand your search. Overall, highly recommend as a good investment.

I just got my Yeti Bowl. I have the 2 Qt. It would hold a salad or potato salad, soup. If you plan on entering for more than two, I would recommend the 4 qt. I kinda wish I would have got the 4. Oh, it did keep my noodle salad cold.

This review is about the yeti bowl versatility of use. The reason I’ve given this Yeti bowl only a 4Star, is because of the hole in the lid. How are we to transport hot food, or any liquid food? it needs to be where nothing will leak out. I’m only guessing the hole is the vent some heat release, like if you’re having hot soup or like the noodles you have to pour the boiling water over and let it sit for three minutes. I get that, but it should have an additional lid without a hold with the set for us that wants to transport things without it leaking, so that’s why I gave this bowl Only four stars. Truly I have not tested the bowl, but as far as yeti goes, they their name stand behind their products. I love Yeti, but I’m disappointed with the set without having an extra lid. It’s useless to me. I have no need for an SS vacuum bowl to eat cereal out of. I needed it for hot items because it is stainless steel and vacuum sealed. All in all yes the bowl is nice. It’s sturdy it didn’t wobble or anything and such I own yeti I own vacuum seal container containers they are very good. They don’t leak even with liquids in them. I needed a Great Yeti round bowl to transport my soups 🥺😢😭😩
