I was hesitant to ever spend more than $20 on a tumbler, but after so many cheap ones failing, I decided to spring for a Yeti. Now I see what all the hype is about. It's incredible! The knock-offs really don't compare. The insulation keeps ice frozen for over a day, hot beverages stay hot for hours longer than I'd expect. But my favorite feature honestly is the magnetic removable cap and the fact that it's legit dishwasher safe. No other tumbler I've owned (and I've tried A LOT of designs) was this easy to clean and so thoroughly. With the mag lid off, the entire thing gets CLEAN, which has always been a struggle with other designs. And I don't have to worry about matching up the parts later or struggling to snap them in or out. It just goes right where it should and closes perfectly every time. My only 4 star aspect was the "easy to hold": I like that the bottom is small enough for cup holders, but it does make it a little top-heavy & less comfortable to hold with one hand. I got one for my mom but with arthritic hands, she struggled to grip this one (had to get one with a handle instead). But honestly it's not bad and I'm so happy with everything else about it that I bought extras. Would be nice if the price was more consistent across colors (right now they range from $38-100+ just based on what color you get). But as long as I can get them under $40, I don't care what color it is. It's such a great product! ... show more

So as my wife would say…I’m “brand whore”…I have bought many Yeti products and none of which are as great as this 30 ouncer. I’ve had everything from iced coffee to Propel, to Jameson in this thing (not in that particular order) and this is the real deal. Best Yeti product I’ve ever bought. I’m 6’4 280lbs so I have no issue gripping it but can definitely understand some of the reviews that say it’s hard to handle. Simple solution: buy some skateboard “grip” tape and wrap it around the cup….you’ll thank me later. Buy this thing!! You’ll love it! (I was iffy about the taupe grey but I LOVE it) gonna buy another one, this time in the offshore blue. I’ll update with how mad the wife gets. ... show more

Be sure to get one one of these handles (purchased separately) otherwise it can be uncomfortable to hold onto especially when full, and difficult to grasp. The Yeti itself is my second, but first one of this size. I can leave cold water in it, placed in a hot car, and the water will stay cold for at least 48 hours. Yeti is much better than Hydroflask in terms of temperature sustainability and all around product durability. ... show more
