Bought this for my wife to take on vacation... She was a bit skeptical at first. But, now she is never without it! Keeps her coffee hot in the mornings for hours!!! And at night she keeps ice water in it all night on her nightstand. For an ice cold drink in the middle of the night. By far the best glass she ever had!! Always a big fan of Yeti products. This rambler, like the rest, doesn’t disappoint. Be aware that the magnetic lid is not completely leak proof so keep it up right. it also gets very cold on the outside so if it’s freezing or below, wear gloves when you carry it. Also, be careful when you put something scolding hot in it. Your tongue will get burnt, even if you’ve waited a bit to drink. Otherwise, it’s a wonderful cup and does exactly what it supposed to, the color is pretty rad too. ... show more

I'm a big fan of theses. That magnetic lid cover is easy to clean around. I would call them leak resistant, not leak proof. But still better than any others I have come across.

Here's a story about the first time I used this mug. I poured my morning coffee at 7:30am and took to work. Had meetings and things to do, and couldn't get around to drinking my coffee until 10:30am. I love the new red yeti color. No leakage and it keeps my coffee hot for hours. It travels with me about 1,000 miles a week. I just rinse it out daily. About two times a week it goes into the dishwasher. Now to get the matching rambler.

When I say daily, I mean, if I forget to wash it the night before, I'm upset. I LOVE this mug and does a pretty great job at keeping coffee warm on my commute to work! It's extremely durable as I dropped it from about 4.5 feet and the lid stayed on and the cup barely had a scratch.

Love the color- keeps my coffee hot for quite sometime on the way to work. The only downfall is it’s heavy and hurts my thumb joints to hold- (it’s wide around. )since there is no handle. I did see in a local store that Yeti sells a handle that u slide from the base onto the tumbler- another $10 tho- and these are pricey already…. ... show more
