    • Keeps my coffee hot for a long time

Got this for my morning coffee when going into the office. The cups keeps the contents hot for a long time depending on how often you open it and how much you have in it. For example, filled it up at 7:00 drank some in the morning, but didn't get a chance to return to my desk until 17:00 and it was still hot. The lid is plastic with a silicone gasket and it fits onto the cup with a twist motion. It fits snug and no leaking from there. Some other brands just have a slide cover to cover the drinking hole, this one you have to push down, then slide to open it. It helps prevent accidental opening of the cup. I don't know if it is 100% leakproof, but I have put it on its side for a minute and it hasn't leaked. While on the subject of accidents, some may be concerned about its stability because the bottom is narrower than the top. it is only slightly smaller and is still very stable the bottom weighting also help to keep it from tipping over. The tapered lower half makes it easy to fit in my car's cupholder and without the handle hitting the console. The cup seems durable being all metal inside and out. But that does mean that if you drop it, it is probably going to dent. I'd also note that the cup is on the heavy side, or at least more than I was expecting. Not a problem if you are just carry it a short distance or picking it up and putting it down, but if you are carrying it for long periods, it might be something you consider before buying this. Don't forget its not just the product weight, but the weight of liquid too. Honestly, I don't know if there is any difference in performance between Yeti, Hydro Flask, Stanley, etc. but this does what I expected out of it, so I have not complaints. I took this on vacation with me to Jamaica and had the beach bar make my drinks in it. The drinks stayed ice cold, as intended. I appreciated the wide color selection and am happy with my choice. I love the way the locking mechanism works, with the magnet. Everything comes apart easily for cleaning as well. A quality product, but was there any doubt? ... show more

I didn't have any leakage problems, it kept hot enough for almost 2 hours but I like my coffee really hot maybe it will be warm enough for other people, I dropped it twice once on the gravel, once on the cement, and only got scratches, it is easy clean and take apart

    • Lid Seals Well Enough, But easy to Clean Thoroughly
Color: Nordic Blue
There are mugs with lids that don’t seal at all but which are very easy to wash thoroughly. Some like the the Yeti with just a simple magnetic slider that keep heat in well enough but they don’t seal very well all and will leak if jostled let alone knocked over. But they are still very easy to clean. And then there are mugs with screw on lids that are completely leak proof, but have all kinds of little nooks and crannies that are difficult if not impossible to get completely clean. This Yeti mug represents a nice middle ground. The lid has the magnetic slider of other Yeti mugs, but it also has a rubber gasketed slider on the undersurface of the lid that does a very good job of preventing any leaks if the mug is jostled or leak very little if knocked over and quickly set upright. So definitely not something you can just throw in your backpack. However, it is very easy to disassemble the seal and gasket and get all the soy milk and coffee washed out so am not drinking fermented soy milk with my next mug of coffee. The cherry on top is that you can still open and close the slider with the thumb of the hand holding the mug. The handle is short enough to not interfere when setting in the cup holder in my car, but big enough to allow three fingers to fit through with my pinky finger under the loop so it is easy to keep the mug from trying to rotate around the handle like some mugs can do. All and all, just the mug I was looking for to make my morning drive easy and spill free and my coffee hot all the way to the bottom. ... show more

This mug is a beautiful color. It is sturdy and well-insulated. It keeps cold drinks cold and warm drinks warm for hours. My only two complaints: 1. The handle is small even for my small hand. It only fits 3 fingers comfortably. 2. Liquids don't flow freely at first through the small opening. There is a moment of hesitation before the drink flows out. For the price, these mugs should be perfect. I was hoping it would be, but it falls just a bit short for me. ... show more
