Honestly, I was really nervous about the chug cap on this bottle but decided I just needed to go for it. No, I do not need anymore YETI tumblers so this was simply bought because I found it in the purple to match my YETI lunch box and YETI bag. Gotta match, right? I’m really enjoying this style. I can fill the bottle and slip it in my bag (upright) and not worry about it leaking or spilling. The only downside of this style of cap is that sometimes the bottom section of the lid is really hard to undo. I don’t knowingly over tighten it so I’m not sure how this happens. This is my first Yeti. Bought it based on word of mouth. So far I've used it for only cold beverages and and it's really well insulated. The only con is the cap - it's not attached to the bottle so when you take it off, where do you put it? A couple of times already I almost walked off without it.

Wow. I have tried a *lot* of different water bottles, not even sure how many. This one beats all of them, because it's easy to open and fill, it has a great cap, and I can drink quickly due to the large opening. It's the best bottle I've seen. Durable, looks good, too. Very decent tumbler to have in my office. Only issue I’ve run into is that always seems to have water trapped in the drinking part, so when you take it off to refill (which I do a few times a day) I consistently get water spilled on me.

but Zojirushi is the best, per a 10 hour very scientific (for me) test I did on it and this and six or so other known brands. The Z contents were still nice and cold. Yeti was a clear No. 2. The rest were not drinkable.
