This product has every feature I could have wanted in a vacuum insulated mug. Specifically: (1) Size. It easily holds the 12 oz. cups of coffee I make using my Keurig machine, with lots of extra room to spare. (2) Vacuum efficiency: The lid seals on VERY securely and, along with the inner and outer construction of the mug, keeps my coffee piping hot. (3) Sliding sip opening: Very smooth opening and easy and secure sliding shut. (4) Stainless steel, colorful outside: Maybe my favorite feature. The contrast between your consistently hot beverage on the inside and the COMPLETELY cool outside makes it a pleasure to hold, with one hand cupped on one side of the cup and the other hand holding onto the generous sized handle on the other. I LOVE this mug!

I don't drink coffee fast enough to enjoy it hot without a lid. I'm a longtime Corkcicle cup user, but their lids, replacements, and cups are built to trash. I started looking for a new high quality cup that would meet my needs and stay in good shape with everyday use. I'm about two weeks into this using this cup 3 times a day and I'm already really impressed. One issue with my corkcicle cups and lids was that I always felt I was at risk of snapping the plastic while I tried to dissemble the cup to clean it. It also has inconvenient seams and deep crevasses that made it difficult to keep clean through regular use. I suspect they give their highest tested quality lids with the cup itself, but give you the trash lids when you go to buy replacement lids to shrink down the turnaround time getting you to buy more replacements faster. It's a bad process. Why do you care about that? Because it's not an issue with the Yeti Rambler. The lid for this cup is designed in a way that is easy to clean, seals well, and the magnet slide lid is easy to take apart and clean. The cup is dishwasher safe, but I haven't tried it in the dishwasher. I've given it a solid but quick hand wash and rinse, and then I sit it out by the coffee pot disassembled to dry before I use it again. I've been diligent in keeping it clean and in good shape since I plan on using it for awhile. tldr - Good cup. Easy to clean. Size and shape are fantastic. Cup doesn't sweat and isn't hot to the touch when full. I bought the stag red color as well. My lady friend said it's the best choice because it works for multiple seasons. I've never cared about my cup matching seasonal colors? But now I'll be in season half the time I'm using the cup so, woo! (?)

Yeti is my favorite insulated rambler brand, not only for their products’ sleek appearance, but for its high-quality and durability. The handle is very comfortable. The 14 oz rambler is perfect as a coffee/tea mug. It keeps my drinks hot (when it is hot) and cold (when it is cold). The only place where it leaks is the sip hole if the rambler is accidentally knocked over.

This mug is good, not perfect. The magnet slider lid is for preventing a major spill, but it still spills a little bit even when closed, there is no seal, just a slider over the mouth hole. The volume is exactly 14 fl. oz. at the ridge for the bottom of the lid. The thermal retention is lower than some of their products but that’s probably due to it being a much lower internal volume and shorter, the lid lets out most of the heat. The handle is good for 2-3 fingers on most men, women with small hands may get 4 fingers in it. The coating is rock solid as always, you would have to dent it to chip it. It fits into none of my cup holders, but that’s not a dealbreaker, I don’t drink in the car except bottled water. Room for improvement, make it the same volume but slightly taller and skinnier to be more compatible with cup holders. The magnet slider lid could do with some design improvements for cleaning, it’s extremely difficult to get the slider off without using a butter knife to push it off through the mouth hole…under the magnet can get gross if not rinsed or cleaned daily. Cold drinks last longer than hot ones, a hot drink will cool significantly over 1 hour, a cold drink will retain its ice for 2 hours before it becomes noticeably watered down. That seems to make sense since it’s easier to keep heat out than it is to keep it in with the walls being metal heatsinks.

I've been using this YETI insulated mug every day, and I'm genuinely impressed with how well it retains heat. I can pour my coffee in before leaving for work, and it's still piping hot several hours later. Even after 5–6 hours, it's warm enough to enjoy without needing to reheat it. The build quality is excellent it's durable, comfortable to hold, and the lid helps prevent spills while still being easy to sip from. It also fits well in my routine whether I'm at my desk or on the go. If you're looking for a mug that actually keeps your coffee or tea hot for a long time, this one is absolutely worth the investment. I can definitely see why YETI has such a great reputation.
