I cycle and can see myself trusting perishables in this for a ride. Tested in a hot car in 95 degree temps for hours. Food still ice cold. I got it to retain ice for over 24 hours. Our first shoulder hopper broke and we were hesitate to replace it, but this cooler is lighter and more comfortable to carry. In addition, it kept our drinks cold without even adding ice (we were out for about 5 hours in 90 degrees with a mix of sun and clouds). The bag is really nice. I have not used it yet (July 2025). When you get this bag it is important to let it air out. It smells really strong of chemicals, that is the only reason for removing one star. Once that is done it is great. The seams and straps seem to be very sturdy and the closing system at the top is secure with both the magnets and the buckles. The shoulder straps extend far enough to be comfortable for most size people. I have the blue color and it is a vibrant blue that is fantastic to look at and hard to lose. ... show more
