    • The colors were off, pockets oddly placed
I bought the yellow/red combo because it appeared to be a solid vibrant bright yellow background with poppy red flowers that popped - not so. The background color isnt solid, its an odd brownish mustard swirled with some washed out yellow, and the flowers are orange-ish, not bright red. Also its 3 tiered and didnt catch that in the pictures, not my favorite. The pockets are oddly placed on the side just below the bust vs at the hips or waist. Its light weight woven fabric, no stretch - the XXL fit my size 18 44D body with little room to spare in the bust, the bottom is very, very full. Its a bit long for me at 5'1". But since its only good enough for when I have not shaved my legs and need to run out for an errand, I have no qualms just cutting it without bothering to hem. The dress is a nice light weight cotton with a pretty print. However, using the seller's sizing, I am a size small. I wear a US small, but knowing China leaves no margin or seam allowance for busts, I ordered a medium. I am short and it fit me like a maxi. I loved it… until I reached my hands over my head to remove the dress. Technically, it fits… as long as I don't have to reach out or up for anything. Think “hulk” ripping out of his clothes, only at not quite 5’2”, and 115lbs, one size up was not enough to bridge the gap between US women and Asian women in bust sizing. ... show more

    • Comfortable, pretty fabric.
I had originally purchased a similar dress, same fabric but sleeveless. I had to send it back, way too tight in the chest area and I’m not huge (38C). But I loved the fabric, it’s even prettier when you actually see it than in the picture so I decided to take a chance on this one. The fit is better and much more comfortable, yet I would’ve been okay with the chest area being a tiny bit looser. Somehow the fit of the dress overall doesn’t match the cut in that area. The fact that there is no stretch to the fabric is a contributing factor as well. I don’t think this style is flattering but it hides all those imperfections we obsess over. Love these dresses overall. The fit is flattering. Although they are super loose, the waist actually hits at my waist. The cut is more breezy feeling than tentlike. The fabric is a lightweight, breathable cotton, which is mostly nice. It would just be great if the fabric were a little thicker. It is so sheer that I need to wear a slip, even with dark colors (I wouldn’t buy this dress in a light color…it would be like wearing tissue paper). I haven’t had any problems with the quality of the fabric other than the thickness. They come out of the wash great. I wash cold and hang to dry. No ironing necessary and I haven’t noticed that there is much shrinkage. I have 2 of them and just wear a half slip. ... show more

Have gotten lots of compliments on this airy cool cotton go-to summer dress. Though the style is baggy, the three-tiered design gives it just enough shape so it doesn't hang like a sack. The fabric has a slightly wavy/crinkly weave and is airy-thin, but the black and white print makes it no-show-through. Washes well in cool or warm water, and retains it shape. Just shake it out & hang to air dry. Dries fairly quickly. Might want to touch-up with an iron, but you could skip and just go with the slight crinkle in the fabric. Sized for smaller Asian women, not larger Americans, so go up a size or two. Hangs to about shin length for medium to tall women; shorter women will need to hem. ... show more

I ordered the white with the large black print in xlarge. I am 36DD, a curvy size 14, 5'5". The dress has no zipper or buttons so be sure to consider this and your bust size so you can get in and out of the dress . The xlarge was big enough for my bust with room to spare but voluminous everywhere else, making me look as big as a house. The lenghth was one inch off the floor. I had my tailor hem it and take in the bust a bit. Ended up getting a zipper under the arm so I could get the dress over my head and still have a somewhat fitted bust. The fabric is like a cotton bed sheet, so no stretch. It is light and comfortable for summer. A large may have been a better fit. ... show more

I just love these dresses for summer! They are very comfortable dresses in hot and humid weather. Great selection of fabric prints. It is difficult to find stylish summer dresses that have some type of sleeve that are comfortable for those of us with expanding waists and larger bust sizes...but these dresses fit the bill. I am 5' 3" and these dresses hit just above the ankle (great for covering those pesky spider veins). Machine wash, a few minutes in the dryer on delicate to fluff and hang dry. I own several and always receive compliments. You can dress up or down, depending on the shoes that you wear. Great return policy, if needed. ... show more
