Looked into a lot of other helmets like this baseball cap style. Went with this one because the chin strap looked more well built and sturdy than the other options. The vents look good on this one too. I got medium because I wanted to hopefully get a size that is a lower profile look. It fits perfectly and is very comfortable. Problem is it is so mushroomy. It’s genuinely goofy looking. If it was lower profile it would look much better. If you wear dirtbike googles or big baseball type sunglasses it could help with proportion. Fit finish and quality is there. It just looks silly

This is a very nice looking helmet, when I am NOT wearing it. It fits the way it should(snug). It is lightweight and DOT approved. It is a comfortable helmet to wear. The chin strap is comfortable and quick release which is very nice. However; I don't wear "half-helmets" for safety reasons--Usually just to keep myself from getting ticketed when riding in states with helmet laws. If I'm worried about safety, I'm wearing full-face helmets only. With that being said, I am not a fan of half-helmets that give you "mushroom head". This would be one of those helmets. While this helmet offers DOT certified protection, I find the way it looks when being worn to be cartoonish. So, if you're looking for something different than your typical styled half-helmet, that also has DOT certification, and is well made, this is your helmet. It is a very nice helmet, it's just not my taste. I was hoping for something a little more low profile to my head.

Looks good feels good. A large fits great with a skull or baseball cap. Light weight so it is just right for short distance rides. No it's not the protection of a full helmet, but some take the risk for the freedom. Worth the money to be legal.
