I purchased this for my granddaughter. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but it exceeded my expectations. The unit seems to be well made, heavy and went together easily. Once assembled, the drawers (which was a slight concern) seem quite sturdy and work very well with the drawer slides. The lighted mirror is a nice touch, and it comes with three different tints to the light. The pieces are substantial, and pre drilled for the various fasteners and all lined up perfectly. Each piece is numbered which made it a no brainer to identify which to assemble, and all the fasteners are packaged separately with identifying labels. I had zero problems assembling it. The only thing I would say is the instructions indicate 45 minutes to assemble and that is in my opinion very inadequate. I assembled it in sections so I could transport it which required some thought so that may have impacted the time it took to assemble, but still seems overly optimistic. I would expect several hours. The pieces came densely packaged in a large heavy box, which at 76 years old was a challenge but I managed. There was absolutely no shipping damage probably due to the large amount of Styrofoam used. You'll need a lot of room in your trash bin for all of the packaging. All in all I was impressed with the quality and care taken to label and package all the pieces. I love it. It has a lot of storage space and the light is bright. It did take 2 1/2 hours to assemble because there's so many pieces but it looks great all put together. The outlets on the desk are very convenient for getting ready!

    • Dimensions not accurate…
One of the big reasons why I chose this item was that it’s listed as being over 17 inches deep. Meaning front to back. I’ve been shopping around for a good desk/vanity. Almost all of them are a little over 15 inches deep. After spending about 6.5 hours putting it together myself in a rather small bedroom (instructions said about 45 minutes assembly time…. It LIED), I discovered that it actually measures a little over 15 inches from front to back. Which is why I’m giving it the lonely star. I’d try to send it back for a refund, but I’d literally rather just drop dead than try to take it apart and put it back into it’s shipping box. False advertising is a really bad thing. Especially for an item like this. Being that I live in Hawaii, I even had to pay for shipping. Admittedly the shipping was discounted, but it would have been free if I lived on the continental US. ... show more

Very simple to follow instructions, took me about 1-1.5 hours to put together by myself (pics don’t show drawers). Can’t speak to the durability of use because I haven’t used it long but very easy to put together, all the lights work.
