I received these just the other day and my husband assembled them. They were very easy to put together (he was glad to see so many parts of the chair came assembled). The instructions were clear and easy to follow. Do make sure to put the washers where the diagrams show so that you can fold the chair more easily. These chairs are substantial. We are using them on our back patio and aside from shifting them around a bit, we will not fold them up and move them. We like that they are so sturdy. The pull-out footrest is the best design. Highly recommend these chairs!

I purchased two of these chairs. The first one took me about 45 minutes to build. That’s including getting everything together. The second one took me about 20 minutes. You’ll have plenty of space on the open box to build. No need for a blanket. I recommend pulling the stickers off as you go. Once you’re sure you have the right part, take that sticker off. The directions were very easy to follow. Just save a bit of time. I did use a drill for the Allen screws. It didn’t save that much time but a better Allen wrench than they give you is recommended. Same thing for the Phillip screwdriver. The one I give you would work, but it’s a little cumbersome. The wrench they give you works fine and I did use that. Everything was packed very well and I didn’t notice any blemishes really. A few tips when you’re building. Remove the stickers as you go as I mentioned. Pay attention to the correct orientation on some parts as they have a recessed hole for the self tapping screws. Pay attention to the directions when it comes to washer installation. The washer goes between items as the well laid out instructions indicate. Personally, I’m not a big fan of Adirondack chairs. They just don’t fit my back correctly, but that’s just me. But these look and feel just like any Adirondack chair. I’ve sat an expensive ones that were five times the price and they feel the same. This one is a good value. We’ll see how it holds up in the hot Texas sun.

Nice looking chairs. Went together pretty quickly, but wow are they heavy. No easy way to move them as you can't pick them up and if you try to slide them they fold up and collapse. If you are going to set and forget them in one place, or have a helper to move, I can recommend. Otherwise, just to awkward to deal with.

After a lot of time figuring it out and mounting it, it turned OK. You might need a person to help to speed up the process. The instructions are fair but could be much better. The chair seat turned out to be a bit lower than I expected (particularly for some one with a bit of a lower back problem), and it might be uncomfortable for taller people. My wife is petite and complained that the edge of the seat should be more round to accommodate the back of her knees. The cup holders are not totally retractable in neither side. It seems sturdy, but I still can't say anything about durability and quality after being exposed to the sun for some time. Important: this is not a chair to easily move around as it is heavy; it is meant to stay in a place and two people are needed to move it.
