I did this all by myself with just an Allen wrench, & I’d never built a bed before. It took about 2 hours. Very easy to put together because everything is labeled. My queen mattress fits perfectly. The headboard and footboard did have a couple loose screws, but I used a screwdriver to tighten them. It’s quiet, no creaks when you toss and turn as I do in my sleep (and I’m a large person). The media could not be loaded. I’m disappointed at this bed looked after placing my mattress on it and also at how cheap the rattan parts are. The footboard came without a screw and another part had ripped and the screw wouldn’t stay on making the rattan board lose, I’m going to have to buy really good glue and see if that helps but this bed is definitely not worth it, my queen size mattress looks a little too small on this bed(was the perfect size for my previous queen size bed) I doubt it’ll last me more than a few months before I have to buy another bed, the only reason I’m not returning this is because I really don’t have the energy to take it apart and send it back, and the fact that I already threw out my other bed, it does look Beautiful indeed with the rattan headboard and footboard but not worth it ... show more

This bedframe is beautiful. You get what you pay for … as I’ve seen on a 1 star review for this bedframe - I had an identical issue with the headboard and footboard screws being pulled out due to the screws not being quite long enough / easily pulled. We just utilized slightly longer screws that were a little bigger that we had on hand. Perfectly fixed the issue and the bed is sturdy. Other than that everything else is as advertised and the instructions were easy to follow. I suggest having a drill handy along with the Allan wrench it comes with as it makes it faster to tighten all the screws. If you can just think outside the box by just replacing a few screws this bed frame works perfectly. ... show more
