The media could not be loaded. My son loves everything fishing. He wanted to try catching his own bait and wanted to try out this net. After a few tries, is has managed to throw the perfect ‘pancake’. The video shows his first experience trying it out in our back yard. He just loves it. Not only has he caught bait, he once caught a large-ish trout. The material is really durable. Since he is only 12, and on the smaller size, we tried him with the 3 foot net. The weights are a key element in making this product work. He loves it. It works excellent. But note: this is not for catching minnows. You should look for a finer net. I would repurchase this product for larger bait.

It was easy to use once you got the hang of it, consistent cast, and it was also affordable and worked so I would most definitely recommend this item! It tore a little when caught on a rock (which is my fault) but was also easy to fix using fishing line.

DO NOT buy this item! It is the worst cast net I've ever used in my life. The only thing it catches is itself, EVERY time you cast. It snags and knots up way too easily, and never fully closes to trap the bait fish. Fish would slip out of the "closed" net almost every time. Apart from all that, the weights all started rusting after ONE day of use (even though it was thoroughly rinsed off). I've used cast nets for over 40 years, and this is by far the worst one I have ever used. Come to think of it, this is the ONLY cast net I"ve EVER had that just doesn't work. Save your money! It would be easier to catch bait fish with your hands!

I wouldn't recommend this net. The cheapo Walmart nets are 10x more durable. I haven't even snagged this net yet and the weight line has already started tearing away. The rope is thin, the horn feels cheap AF, idk what weight mono is used but it feels like 6lb test. Maybe this net would be alright from a boat but I really doubt it. I won't buy this again, the Ozark Trail nets are so much better in every way.

We bought this for the kids however it works so well it was taken over by the grown ups. Lol. We pulled a significant amount of bait sized fish which kept every one of us busy catching bigger fish. This is a great product and very well made.

I was skeptical about this net after reading some of the reviews. I almost cancelled my order, but decided not to. I'm glad I didn't. I think this is a great net, and I'm very happy with my 5'. Some of the knots are a little messed up here and there, but this is purely cosmetic and there are only about three that look weird. It is a lot stronger than others are saying. I think it has 10lb test on the net, not 4lb like some are claiming. I snagged mine up pretty good on something and had to just pull until it came free. After reading some of these reviews I was expecting to pull in a shredded up net, but it didn't have a single tare in it! I was way impressed and came here to talk about it. I love mine.
